AMA CHARTER 1040 GOLD LEADERSHIP CLUB THE PRESIDENT’S TRACK by Steve Haas I wanted to thank Don Linder for taking care of the fuel buy program again this year, It’s allot of work to organize this for the club. Mother Nature has not been kind to us these last few weeks so it’s been a slow start to the flying season. Hopefully by the me you get this the weather will have changed and we can begin flying on a regular basis. With that please double check your planes and equipment before you head out to the field, look over your planes and fix anything that is in need of repair, charge your baeries and check them under a load or discharge them and check how much you take out and put back in to make sure they are sll good. When you get to the field make sure you do a range check before you fly and that the control surfaces are moving in the right direcon. The field was rolled last month so it should be a lile smoother for takeoffs and landings. We also did some trimming of the larger weeds and brush at the west end of the field (see pgs. 12 & 13), lets get ready for the mulch….. We have had our first fun fly of the year and the next one is scheduled for Sunday May 17th, be there and ready by 10:00am, always best to show up early to get at least one flight in between 9:00 and 10:00 to shake things out so your ready when your name is called. Most of all, have fun. ~ Steve

I wanted to thank Don Linder for taking care of the fuel buy program again this year, It’s allot of work to organize this for the club. Mother Nature has not been kind to us these last few weeks so it’s been a slow start to the flying season. Hopefully by the time you get this the weather will have changed and we can begin flying on a regular basis. With that please double check your planes and equipment before you head out to the

field, look over your planes and fix anything that is in need of repair, charge your batteries and check them under a load or discharge them and check how much you take out and put back in to make sure they are still good. When you get to the field make sure you do a range check before you fly and that the control surfaces are moving in the right direction. The field was rolled last month so it should be a little smoother for takeoffs and landings. We also did some trimming of the larger weeds

and brush at the west end of the field (see pgs.
