Introduction

Kia ora , Talofa, Malo o lelei, Fakalofa lahi atu, Kia orana,

Welcome to the Manawanui RTLB Service!

Congratulations on your successful appointment as an RTLB working within the

Counties Manukau region of Otara, Papatoetoe and Mangere. We work with 29

schools: 6 High Schools; 4 Intermediates; 19 Primary Schools.

Each school is unique, has its own culture, procedures and policies. The key to

successful engagement with schools is effective relationships, good work ethics and

professional leadership.

This booklet will provide you with some key information to familiarize yourself with

the cluster, its organization and processes. It does not cover all the information you

will need, so please ask plenty of questions. The Induction process is designed to

support your transition into your role and your responsibilities so all the very best

and ask questions. The team will welcome your input.

We all look forward to supporting you and working with you to provide a highly

professional, and effective service to our cluster schools, our community and

whanau.
