•Dhirubhai started off as a small time worker with Arab

merchants in the 1950.

•He was the head of Reliance Group Of Industries set up in

1966.

•He moved to Mumbai in 1958 to start his own business in

spices.

•He has 2 sons- Mukesh and Anil.

• In 1985 after a heart attack handed over the Reliance

empire to his sons.

•After his death, Dhirubhai’s sons parted ways and formed

two different companies under Reliance.

• Started "Majin" in partnership with Champaklal Damani.

•Reliance Textiles
