Class Policy There will be a midterm and a final exam. The midterm (40%) and the final (60%) will make up the grade for the course. You are expected to read regularly and take an active part in the class discussions. The lectures will relate to the readings assigned for each week; however, they will also cover outside sources. Students will be responsible for the assigned readings as well as the lectures. All the prologues to the stories listed below are also to be read and studied. "The Wife of Bath's Prologue" is given separately because it is a tale in its own right. If you are taking this course, please kindly make sure you send a request including your full name and student number to join http://groups.yahoo.com/group/inde4032chaucer.
