Notes:1) Diarrhoeal cases by district were provided provided by HMIS ofMoPH and the Cholera Outbreaks by province were provided by theDisease Early Warning System (DEWS) of the SurveillanceDirectorate.2) The incidence of Acute Diarrhoeal Disease (ADD) representscases diagnosed as 'Acute Watery Diarrhoea' (AWD), 'BloodyDiarrhoea' (BD), and 'AWD with Dehydration' (AWDD).3) Cases of AWD, BD and AWDD are mutally exclusive.4) The DEWS at August 2012 has 312 sentinel sites (only one site ina district) focusing on 15 communicable diseases.5) Districts showing "No data available" does not imply zero incidenceof Acute Diarrhoeal Disease.6) The incidence of ADD is derived only from districts that havereported, i.e. only the populations of districts with cases reported havebeen used to calculate the incidence rate.
