Vision Statement

Incarnation Parish is a Roman Catholic community centered around the Lord Jesus, a living sign of hope to all that the Word made flesh dwells among us. His presence and love is encountered in all areas of our life together, especially in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, in Sacred Scripture and in the Sacraments. We seek to make the Lord's presence and love known through service and edu-cation, through evangelization and through con-tinual conversion and renewal in Him. We entrust our life together and our sharing in the mission of Christ to the protection and intercession of Mary, Mother of the Lord and our Mother.

EASTER GIFT TO MY CHURCH. Your all important “Easter Gift to My Church” is being collected next Sun-day. The Easter letter from Father O’Connor asks that everyone prayerfully make a fair share of-fering during this holy season of Joy and Hope. If you did not receive the mailing extra “Easter Gift to My Church” envelopes are in the church today. Thank you in ad-vance for your support of this vital parish collection during Easter.

LIVING LIGHTS. Securing an Annual Living Light Vo-tive Candle to Honor a Loved One, Remember a Special Intention, or Mark a Milestone is a contin-ual and wonderful way to celebrate sentiments and offer intercessions of remembrance, hope and grat-itude. Two wall mounted electric candle stands now hang in our church on either side of the newly

restored and expanded Saints’ Shrine. These unique and inviting candles are made of real wax with electrified illu-mination to insure your Living Light burns brightly throughout the year. A plaque displaying the name of your loved one, your intention, or your milestone will be mounted before your Living Light Votive Candle. Plaques will remain for the year you have secured your Living Light and may be renewed or rededicated for additional 12 month periods. In addition to its rightful place before your Living Light in the Saints’ Shrine, your Loved One, Special Intention, or Milestone will also be included in the Living Light Section of the Parish Website. The Shepherd Speaks

Today’s Gospel recounts the 3rd apparition of the Risen Jesus to the disciples, with the ac-count of the miraculous catch on the shore of the lake of Galilee. T he narrative is situated in the context of the everyday life of the disciples, who re-turned to their land and to their work as fishermen, after the shocking days of the passion, death and resurrection of

the Lord. It was difficult for them to under-stand what had taken place. Even though eve-rything seemed finished, Jesus “seeks” his dis-ciples once more. It is He who goes to seek them. This time he meets them at the lake. - Regina Coeli—10.IV.16
