The 3rd edition of IGJME is GJEPC's initiative and Asia's largest gem and jewellery technology fair,

providing technological support through the latest machines that can make a difference to both

initiative launched by the Govt. of India to boost our manufacturing sector and propel our country

forward into becoming the world's leading manufacturing hub.

1. India has fast developed as a global jewellery manufacturing hub. What

opportunity does it present to AFEMO?

All the Italian machinery producers consider the Indian market very important

for many years. Signature IIJS offers AFEMO members a great opportunity

to improve their relations with the Indian market. In fact, this will be the

first time that 30 Italian companies have the opportunity to participate

in the show all together.

2. How do you foresee the coming year for the machinery /

equipment suppliers?

The trend of the machinery sales was very good in the last year, but

obviously the Indian market can be a further boost to maintain our

positive trend.

3. Have you planned any special initiatives / launches at IGJME?

With the help of the Italian Trade Commission that will support our presence in the

fair, we will start an initiative to improve our support to the Indian customer.

4.IGJME will be held in conjunction with Signature IIJS which is largely

attended by the decision makers comprising of India’s leading manufacturers

and retailers from pan India. In what way is this beneficial for Italian

exhibitors?

Exhibitions is still one of the most important vehicles to promote a large

number of Italian companies. Initiatives like these gives us an

opportunity to promote our products and offerings.

5. What are your business expectations from IGJME?

Obviously we expect a great success considering the power and

scale of the Indian market. We think that only a big event like

Signature IIJS can give us the opportunity to improve our relations with

our customers as well promise of sales.
