Imenco Standard ROV Shackle Range

The dimensions are equivalent to a standard D-type shackle of the same capacities,

the pins and the opening width being the same, as are the Pad-eye dimensions,

for example the 12Te standard shackle is a perfect match to our 12Te ROV operated shackle.

On client request hydraulic versions of the above standard ROV shackle range can be produced.

This can be operated on ground level - thus offering significant safety advantages and eliminating

the need for working at height.

The locking plate can be

fitted with a Monkey Fistor similar arrangement

for the ROV to pull on.

The lock/unlock positions

are clearly marked on the

front coverplate: L and U.

The Shackle body and the

majority of other parts are

made from High Tensile

Stainless Steel; S165M.

The Imenco shackle pin

is made of forged high

tensile 34CrNi steel.

The shackles are supplied

with an aluminium

storage case and a full

set of documentation.

Imenco has responded to industry demand by designing a shackle which can be utilized offshore for

heavy lifts.

Both the lifting pin and the locking mechanism are hydraulically operated. In case of hydraulic failure,the smart design of the release mechanism for the hydraulic cylinders enables the spring to be used

as a backup.
