• Look at the difference between task 1 & 14• Most will be higher on 14• Higher scores indicate that you should start
with fewer reps
Evaluating your LFA
When to adjust the training
• Be able to keep your score under 100 ms before increasing reps Example: If you have a
250 ms on both hands, set their program for 50 to 100 reps and keep it there until their scores are below 100 ms.
Tip: Demo hand over hand to parent or caregiver to help them
• Gradually increase the reps as you are able to maintain scores consistently under 100 ms
• As the scores drop lower add longer reps to EACH TASK
• When able to do tasks with longer reps (starting with the 500 reps tasks) make sure they can maintain their scores in the average to above average range

• An off session or two can be expected at some point in the training• Don’t change plan just
yet• Some clients have a
few poor scores right before they make a big gain in their timing
• If lack of progress persists, it is time to reassess
