Il nome si rifà al famoso gioco orientale fatto con bastoncini di legno o avorio con cui si forma un mazzo dal quale devono essereprelevati i bastoncini lasciati cadere casualmente. Mikado significa proprio questo insieme di sottili strisce di legno naturale cheopportunamente assemblate e incollate creano interessanti moduli lignei. Il legno lamellare, amato ed utilizzato da famosi architettiquali Alvar Aalto e Adolf Loos anche per le sue caratteristiche di elevata robustezza, dà vita a superfici eleganti e mai monotone cheben completano sia ambienti di grande estensione che locali più intimi e raffinati.

The name derives from the well-known oriental game played with wooden or ivory sticks. These were held in a bunch, allowed to fall randomly in a pile, then the stickswere removed one at a time. Mikado refers to this set of thin strips of natural wood which, carefully assembled and glued, create interesting wooden modules.Famous architects such as Alvar Aalto and Adolf Loos used and preferred very strong laminated wood to avoid monotony and bring life to elegant surfaces, giving aperfect refined finish to both large and small rooms.

Ce nom renvoie au célèbre jeu oriental qui consiste à jeter un paquet de bâtonnets en bois ou en ivoire pour en faire un petit tas et ensuite prendre un bâtonnet sansfaire bouger les autres. Mikado est donc un ensemble de minces petites lames de bois naturel qui peuvent être assemblées et collées pour créer d’intéressants modulesen bois. Des architectes célèbres comme Alvar Aalto et Adolf Loos aimaient beaucoup le bois lamellé, qu’ils utilisaient également pour sa grande robustesse. Le boislamellé peut faire naître des surfaces élégantes et jamais monotones, qui peuvent parachever aussi bien les locaux d’une certaine étendue que des pièces plus intimeset raffinées.

Die Benennung erfolgte nach dem berühmten orientalischen Spiel mit Holz- oder Elfenbeinstäbchen, die in einem Bündel lose auf den Tisch fallengelassen und einzelnweggenommen werden müssen. Mikado steht daher für dünne Stäbchen aus Naturholz, die zu interessanten Holzmodulen zusammengesetzt und –geklebt werden.Das Lamellenholz, das von berühmten Architekten wie Alvar Aalto und Adolf Loos unter anderem auch aufgrund seiner hohen Robustheit geschätzt und verwendet wird,schafft elegante und niemals monotone Flächen, die sowohl für große Räumlichkeiten als auch für ein intimes, raffiniertes Ambiente geeignet sind.

El nombre tiene origen en el famoso juego oriental realizado con un conjunto de bastoncitos de madera o marfil que se deja caer al azar, después de lo cual debentomarse uno por uno. Mikado significa precisamente esto, es decir, conjunto de delgadas tiras de madera natural que adecuadamente ensambladas y encoladas creaninteresantes módulos lignarios. La madera laminar, amada y utilizada por famosos arquitectos tales como Alvar Aalto y Adolf Loos incluso por sus características deelevada solidez, permite crear superficies elegantes y jamás monótonas que completan muy bien tanto ambientes de gran extensión como locales más íntimos yrefinados.

MIKADO presenta ibordi e spigoli dritti ed una superficie elegante e complessa propria delle pavimentazioni realizzate con i legni lamellari. Il materiale deve essere assolutamente inerte. Il processo produttivo deve impiegare

Dalles en grès fin cérame ERGON® parfaitement fondu et

compact. Le produit doit être réalisé par pressage avec la

technologie du chargement de matières premières prémélangées

pendant la phase de préparation. MIKADO a les bords et les

arêtes droits et une surface élégante et complexe, propre aux

sols réalisés avec les bois lamellés. Le matériau doit être

absolument inerte. Le processus de production doit employer

des matières premières non nocives, non radioactives, ne

contenant pas de métaux lourds (cadmium, plomb), permettant

d’obtenir un produit en accord avec les techniques de la biologie

de l’habitat.

Le matériau doit être classé dans le groupe BIa selon la norme

ISO 13006 et répondre à toutes les exigences de produit prévues

par la norme ISO 10545. D’une manière spécifique, il doit

résister au gel (ISO 10545/12), aux chocs thermiques (ISO

10545/9), à l’attaque acide et basique (ISO 10545/13),

posséder une valeur d’absorption de l’eau (ISO 10545/3)

inférieure à 0,5%, obtenir une résistance à la flexion (ISO

10545/4) égale ou supérieure à 35N/mm2 ne pas être

susceptible d’être taché par des agents salissants alimentaires

pre-mixed during the preparation stage. MIKADO features

straight edges and corners and the typical elegance and

complex surface of laminated wood flooring.The material

must be absolutely inert. The manufacturing process must

be carried out with harmless and non-radioactive raw

materials that do not contain heavy metals (cadmium or

lead), thus enabling the manufacture of a product in

accordance w i th b ioa rch i t ec tu ra l t echn iques .

The material must be classified in the BIa group, in

compliance with standard ISO 13006, and meet all the

product requirements set forth in standard ISO 10545.

Specifically, it must be resistant to frost (ISO 10545/12),

thermal shock (ISO 10545/9), and the effects of acids and

bases (ISO 10545/13). It must feature a water absorption

value (ISO 10545/3) of less than 0.5%. It must achieve a

resistance to bending stress (ISO 10545/4) greater than or

equal to 35 N/mm2. It must be resistant to food stains in

accordance with CTI-81-7 (Ceramic Tile Institute, USA). In

general all the technical specifications must be checked

according to testing methods carried out in compliance with

the ISO 9001 standards.

auf, die typisch für Fußbodenbeläge aus Holzlamellen ist. Das

M a t e r i a l m u s s v o l l k o m m e n i n n e r t s e i n . B e i d e m

Produktionsverfahren sind Rohstoffe zu verwenden, die weder

schädlich noch radioaktiv sind und auch keine Schwermetalle

(Kadmium, Blei) enthalten, so dass ein Produkt entsteht, das

völlig im Einklang mit den Techniken des umweltbewussten

Bauens steht. Das Material muss der Kategorie BIa gemäß der

Norm ISO 13006 angehören und alle Produktanforderungen

erfüllen, die die Norm ISO 10545 vorsieht. Insbesondere muss

es frostbeständig (ISO 10545/12), temperaturwechselbeständig

(ISO 10545/9), laugen- und säurebeständig (ISO 10545/13) sein;

es muss einen Wasserabsorptionswert aufweisen (ISO 10545/3),

der geringer als 0,5 % ist; es muss über eine Biegefestigkeit

propia de los pavimentos realizados con maderas laminares.

El material debe ser absolutamente inerte. En el proceso

productivo deben emplearse materias primas no nocivas, no

radioactivas y sin contenido de metales pesados (cadmio,

plomo), a fin de obtener un producto técnicamente respetuoso

de la arquitectura ecológica.

El material debe ser clasificado en el grupo BIa según la

norma ISO 13006 y debe reunir todos los requisitos del

producto previstos por la norma ISO 10545. En particular

debe: resistir al hielo (ISO 10545/12), a los choques térmicos

(ISO 10545/9) y al ataque ácido y básico (ISO 10545/13);

poseer un valor de absorción de agua (ISO 10545/3) inferior
