1. Chanel Innovation

These curious dual-purpose “sunglasses” by Chanel offer a built-in comb, but we wonder

how effective they really are…???

2. Social TV

A startup called Starling has unveiled a new service that aims to build on the way Twitter has thus far changed the way people watch TV.

Its app presents streams of comments from a user's friends and the wider community around any given show, but also lets users 'star' comments that

they like, voting them up.

Starling's big idea is that it will then allow broadcasters to tap into this data in real-time, and incorporate it into their shows.

"The audience is inherently isolated with the device that they're watching TV on though," he says. "Big production shows have been very successful in

bringing the family back to the sofa, but we want to be a real-time watercooler."

4. Nike Grid

Coming off the back of the hugely successful Nike+, Nike's latest venture challenges Londoners to race it out to the bitter end.

Nike GRID uses the now almost defunct iconic London telephone box to track a runner's progress at designated Nike branded locations. After registering online, players run between two phoneboxes and punch in their unique user

id number at each, logging their run and earning them points online.

The more runs, the more points earned for that postcode. The person with the most points in each area claims the crown of that postcode, badges are

also awarded for speed, stamina and insider knowledge of the streets.

Nike GRID has 2,953 ‘likes’ on Facebook

5. Heineken Viral

This is the latest Heineken Ad called ‘Men With Talent’, it was launched last week and is a very cool follow up to

last years Walk In Fridge viral that was hugely successful, with over 3.5 million views on YouTube!

I’m wondering how long it will take this video to run past 1 million views and the answer is probably within the

first week as they had 100,000 in the first day!
