Safety Interlocks • Compartment door is interlocked with the
circuit breaker / contactor truck such that: • The unit cannot be racked in until the door
is closed…and • The door can not be opened when the unit
is in the Service position
• Breaker Secondary contact block interlocked such that: • It can only be removed when the unit is in
the Test position….and • The unit cannot operate unless it is plugged
in.

Circuit Earth Switch
• Safety Interlocks • Mechanical interlock with the circuit
breaker compartment such that: • Earth Switch cannot be ‘Closed’ with the
circuit breaker / contactor in the ‘Service’ position.
• Circuit breaker / contactor can only be moved from ‘Test – Disconnected’ to ‘Service’ position when Earth Switch is ‘Open’.
