Content
The role of computers and databases in production systems. Fundamental concepts in
developing integrated production information systems including ERP, lean production and JIT
with emphasis on inventory, lead time, work-order management, shop floor control and group
technology based parts classification and coding schemes.

Grading Policy
Homework 10%

Final 35% (To be eligible to take the final, a student needs to collect 20% out of a
