Implementation Goals• Live lectures by experts using quality video on Internet: placing best
teachers in front of students– part of main curriculum
• where rest of course/ tutorials/ Interactions handled by local teachers– Higher Education: 10 lectures in 15 courses in 2 years
• 15 – 20 lectures on most courses in 5 years– Middle and High School: 10 lectures in 5 courses in 2 years
• 15 – 20 lectures on all courses in 5 years– Primary School: 5 – 8 lectures in 3 subjects in next two years
• Interactive e-books: Besides text, each section has videos, animations, images, quiz modules, dictionary, reference links– promote widely at all levels: all core courses to have at least one book in five years– Games and simulations for learning
• Tutorials and Group Discussions– interactive learning using audio/ video/text chat/ file sharing / white-board like tools– Develop tools and pilot in select colleges and high schools for at least 50% courses
• Assessment and Evaluation: immediate– Objective/ exact answer: Computer-based automated evaluation – Subjective/long answers: evaluation by a tutor / introduce peer-evaluation
