THE PROJECT

CINDERELLAS OF OUR MODERN DAYS

What’s the ProjectCinderellas of Our Days is a Comenius bilateral partnership between Hungaryand Italy started in 2011 and focused on two main aims:

• providing an opportunity for deeper knowledge and appreciation of anotherEuropean country's language and culture,

• engaging pupils aged 12-14 in a strongly motivating and formative processaimed at producing a shared end-of-programme product.

The result is a play (completely ideated, written and acted by students) whichdeals with the problems and the joys of growing up, written expressively andironically by the children in their own words. A re-edition in modern times of thefairy tale Cinderella has been chosen as the main theme because it is well-known all over the world and by way of it students can investigate their ownproblems and try to solve them with the help of their teachers and of theirpeers. At the core of the play there have been current topics such asrelationships, autonomy and freedom from the adults, progressive awarenessof the specific rights and duties of active citizenship, new/contrasting/traditionallifestyle choices, acquisition of a consumerist/ecologist attitude and/or othercontroversial issues.

Its valueBy collaborating on the project activities and exchanging experiences, pupilshave developed a variety of skills including social and civic competences,communication skills and digital literacy. They have also been able to developan interest in the other's country language and culture, to learn the basics ofthe partners' language, to stay at the partners' school and be hosted by theirpeers’ families, exchanging in turns the hospitality. The experience has madeteachers and pupils better European citizens, strengthening the confidencethey have in other people and helping them develop a stronger feeling ofsolidarity and trust towards anyone who speaks a different language or has adifferent culture and different views about family, society, work and religion.

Its aimsBoth partners believe that a bilateral partnership can give students and theirfamilies the opportunity to enhance even more the European dimension in

education, and that by taking part in such a project which must have a concreteand well defined end-product, they can reinforce the skills and knowledge theyhave just started to develop.

Why Italy and Hungary“Hriszto Botev Általános Iskola” and “Istituto Comprensivo A. Gramsci” alreadyworked together during the previous Comenius Project “Side by side inEducation” (2008-2010) and they wanted to collaborate closely through thefruitful opportunities supplied by this new Comenius Project. Above all othertwo reasons encouraged teachers to collaborate together: the first one is thatabout 150 years ago the Veneto region, after the fall of the SerenissimaRepublic of Venice, became annexed to the Austro-Hungarian Empire for about50 years (1814-1866), until Italy became united under the Kingdom of Savoy;the second one, the Veneto became a major battlefield during 1st World War,when Italy was on one side (with France and United Kingdom) and Germanyand the Austro-Hungarians on the other. Although those facts seem to belongto a misty past, teachers believe that a closer collaboration between the twocountries might help in developing a stronger feeling of friendship betweenHungary and Italy (or rather the two geographical regions of Lake Balaton andthe Veneto) which were on opposite fronts about a century ago and are nowpart of the same European Union.

I am convinced that the story of Cinderella was a great choice for both theItalian and the Hungarian students for the Comenius project. The story is well-known all over the world and has its moral for everyone in every century.Family life and the problems of youth have always been among the mostimportant questions of different cultures. We face many difficult situations in ourlives but our aim should always be to find solutions for the problems to makeourselves and people around us happy.Congratulations and many thanks to all the children, teachers and parents foraccomplishing this international project. I wish everybody could have as many

positive experiences and happy moments as we had during the mutual work onour Cinderella project.

Hamupipőke története kitűnő választás volt a Comenius program olasz ésmagyar résztvevői számára. Ez a jól ismert történet fontos tanulságokkalszolgál mindenkor és mindenkinek. A családi élet és az ifjúság problémái újrameg újra fontos kérdéseket vetnek fel. Életünk nehéz pillanataiban is arra kelltörekednünk, hogy helytálljunk és magunkat és környezetünket is boldoggátegyük.A project sikeres megvalósításáért köszönet illeti a gyerekeket, tanáraikat és aszülőket. Kívánom, hogy mindenki tapasztalja meg életében a jól végzettmunka örömét, ahogy mi is átélhettük ezt a közös munka során.

Sono convinto che decidere di lavorare sulla fiaba di Cenerentola sia stata lascelta migliore per gli studenti italiani ed ungheresi impegnati in questoprogetto Comenius. La storia è nota in tutto il mondo ed il messaggio che vuoletrasmettere è adeguato in qualsiasi luogo ed in qualsiasi tempo. La vitafamiliare ed i problemi legati ai giovani sono sempre state alcune tra le piùimportanti questioni affrontate dalle diverse culture e società. Nella nostra vitaaffrontiamo molte situazioni difficili ma il nostro scopo dovrebbe essere semprequello di trovare una soluzione ai problemi portando felicità a noi stessi ed allepersone che ci stanno attorno.Voglio congratularmi e ringraziare tutti i ragazzi, gli insegnanti ed i genitori peraver contribuito alla realizzazione di questo progetto internazionale. Spero chetutti possano vivere esperienze positive e momenti felici come abbiamo avutooccasione di viverli noi durante il lavoro svolto in comune per il nostro progettoCinderella.

A lot has already been said about Cinderella and her story, new and old, andabout the European Project and the collaboration between countries andschools, and, therefore, I would like to say something about the positive impactof drama on education and the cultural development of children. Theatre is anaid to self-esteem, imagination, empathy, collaboration between students andteachers, concentration, memory, communicative abilities both verbal and non-

verbal (including speaking in foreign languages), trust in others and aestheticappreciation. These are all processes and values which have a tremendouslypositive impact on students’ minds and improve the quality of their lives.This is the third time in three years that we have brought the whole school to atheatre, but this time we have the pleasure of sharing this fantastic experiencewith another school, which has taught us a lot during these two years of intensecollaboration. The opportunity to be together in a theatre here with children,parents and teachers from two different countries doubles the pleasure and thebenefits and doubles our emotions. A dream which we had three years ago, tobring together two schools so far apart geographically, and to make themproduce a theatrical work together has been realized. Thank you again toeveryone for making this dream come true!

Már sok szó esett Hamupipőke történetéről, a régiről és az újról is. Beszéltünkmár a két ország, a két iskola együttműködéséről. Most a színjátszásnevelőmunkánkra és a gyerekek kulturális fejlődésére kifejtett pozitív hatásárólszeretnék szólni. A színház segíti az önbecsülés, a képzelőerő, az empatikuskészségek fejlődését, a tanulók és a tanárok közötti együttműködést. Fejlődik akoncentrálóképesség, az emlékezőképesség, a szóbeli és írásbelikommunikációs készségek (beleértve az idegen nyelven való kommunikációt).Növeli az egymás iránti bizalmat, fejlődik az esztétikai érzék. Ezek mind olyanértékek, amelyek óriási hatást gyakorolnak tanulóinkra és családjukra is.Életvitelükre szintén pozitív hatással vannak. Három év alatt harmadszorrahozzuk el tanulóinkat a színházba, de most örömmel osztjuk meg ezt azélményt egy másik iskolával. Az elmúlt két év során sokat tanultunk tőlük aszoros együttműködésről. Sokszorozza a hatást az a lehetőség, hogy a kétország tanulói, a szülők és tanárok együtt örülhetnek a közös színházisikernek. Három éve álmodtunk meg azt, hogy a két iskola – mely földrajzilagtávoli fekvésű - közel kerüljön egy színházi produkció keretében. Köszönetmondunk mindazoknak, akik segítettek valóra váltani az álmunkat!

Molto è già stato detto sulla storia di Cenerentola, antica e moderna, e sulprogetto Comenius e la collaborazione tra paesi e scuole e, quindi, vorreispendere una parola sui benefici che il teatro porta all'educazione. Il teatro facrescere l'autostima, l'immaginazione, l'empatia, la collaborazione tra studenti egli insegnanti, la concentrazione, l'autodisciplina, la memoria, le abilitàcomunicative sia non verbali che verbali (anche nelle lingue straniere), la

fiducia negli altri e l'amore per il bello. Tutti processi e valori che hanno unpositivo impatto su un'intera generazione di studenti e sulla qualità della lorovita. Questa è la terza volta in tre anni che riusciamo a portare tutta la scuola ateatro, ma quest'anno abbiamo il piacere di condividere questa esperienza conuna scuola amica, la scuola Hriszto Botev School di Veszprem, che ci hainsegnato così tanto in questo intenso scambio di collaborazione durato dueanni. Questa opportunità di essere a teatro insieme, ragazze e ragazziungheresi ed italiani, le loro famiglie e gli insegnanti dei due paesi, raddoppia ibenefici e l'impatto positivo sulle nostre emozioni. Un sogno pensato tre annifa, quello di poter collaborare per una produzione teatrale comune tra duescuole europee, si è avverato! Grazie a tutti coloro che hanno reso possibileraggiungere questo obiettivo!

Cinderella: a European classic in Hungarian performance.

All children know the story about a beautiful girl who is kind and hardworkingand who eventually reaps her reward, happiness. We, schoolboys andschoolgirls, have talked a lot about Cinderella’s life, the feelings of differentcharacters. We wrote the dialogues for the play and translated them intoEnglish together and our teachers helped us to dramatize the story. In themeantime we have also witnessed the proof. We have slipped into the differentcostumes of different characters and sorted our own lentils to get a reward…But what reward? We have learnt to appreciate good things in our lives andexperienced how collective work can help us to reach our goals.In cooperation with our Italian friends, we have created a special world: atraditional but modern Cinderella. Italian and Hungarian children tell the lovelystory of a girl who finally found happiness.

Hamupipőke: egy klasszikus európai mese magyar köntösben.

Minden magyar gyermek ismeri ezt a varázslatos történetet a lányról, akiszépségével, kedvességével, szorgalmával elnyeri jutalmát, a boldogságot. Mi,veszprémi iskolások sokat beszélgettünk Cinderella sorsáról, a szereplőkérzéseiről. Magunk írtuk a párbeszédeket, ezeket angolra fordítottuk. Tanárainksegítségével született meg a mese színpadi változata. Eközben mi isteljesítettük az előttünk álló sok-sok próbát. Különféle karakterek jelmezeibebújtunk. Kiválogattuk a magunk lencséjét, hogy ezzel elnyerjük… De mit isnyertünk? Megtanultuk tisztelni a jót, megtanultunk dolgozni a céljainkért –közösen. Olasz barátainkkal együtt hoztuk létre ezt e különleges világot, ahagyományos és modern Cinderellát. Olasz és magyar gyerekek együtt

mondjuk el a varázslatos történetet a lányról, aki szépségével kedvességével,szorgalmával elnyeri jutalmát, a boldogságot.

Cenerentola: un classico europeo in versione ungherese.

Tutti i bambini conoscono la favola della bella fanciulla, gentile e laboriosa chealla fine ottiene la sua ricompensa: la felicità. Noi, studenti e studentesse,abbiamo parlato molto della vita di Cenerentola, dei sentimenti dei varipersonaggi. Abbiamo scritto i dialoghi per lo spettacolo, li abbiamo tradotti ininglese e, con l’aiuto dei nostri insegnanti, li abbiamo adattati allarappresentazione teatrale. Allo stesso tempo ci siamo calati nei panni dei moltipersonaggi, abbiamo rivissuto le esperienze, i sentimenti e provato lasofferenza nel raggiungere un traguardo proprio come ha fattoCenerentola......Ma quale traguardo? Abbiamo imparato ad apprezzare le cosebelle della nostra vita e provato come il lavoro di gruppo possa aiutarci araggiungere i nostri obiettivi. In collaborazione con i nostri amici italianiabbiamo creato un mondo speciale: una Cenerentola tradizionale ed unamoderna. Gli studenti italiani ed ungheresi ci racconteranno la deliziosa favoladella fanciulla che finalmente trovò la felicità.

Our Project: Cinderella

The students of “Hriszto Botev” Primary School have set up a really interestingproject. We all consider our connection with the Italian primary schoolextremely important. The students of Campalto visited us in May 2012. Theyspent a few days in a nice holiday resort in Felsőörs and then they stayed withthe Hungarian host families, too. Two years have been devoted to our projectwork: Cinderella – a costume drama. We dramatized the original tale for thestage. Our teachers helped us a lot with learning the roles and acting out thescenes. The Italian students have worked on the same play, Cinderella but in amodern approach. We are really happy to watch the mutual performance soon.It must be wonderful! Now we are all looking forward to meeting the studentsand having a great time together in Campalto.

Cinderella – ahogy mi látjuk

A Hriszto Botev Általános Iskola diákjai nagyon érdekes projekt résztvevőilehettünk. Mindnyájan fontosnak tartjuk a campaltói iskolával való kapcsolatot,amelynek diákjai 2012 májusában látogattak el hozzánk. A közös projekt kétéve során Hamupipőke történetét dolgoztuk fel, kosztümös változatban vittük

színpadra a mesét, melyhez nagy segítséget kaptunk a tanárainktól. Az olaszgyerekek is ezen a darabon dolgoztak, ők a történet modern korifeldolgozására vállalkoztak. Most mindnyájan nagy izgalommal várjuk azolaszországi találkozást, a közös programokat és az előadást. Reméljük, szépélményekben lesz részünk!

Il nostro Progetto: Cinderella

Gli studenti della Scuola ”Hriszto Botev”, in collaborazione con gli studenti dellaScuola ”A. Gramsci” di Campalto, hanno costruito un progetto moltointeressante che ha reso possibile un forte legame tra i due Paesi. Lo scorsoMaggio 2012 gli studenti italiani hanno trascorso dieci giorni in Ungheriasoggiornando prima in un delizioso ostello a Felsőörs, e poi presso le famiglieospitanti. Abbiamo lavorato insieme al progetto Cinderella, unarappresentazione teatrale in lingua inglese, per due anni. Aiutati dai nostriinsegnanti, abbiamo adattato per il teatro la favola originale, mentre gli studentiitaliani ne hanno dato una lettura in chiave moderna. A breve vedremorealizzato sul palco di un teatro il nostro lavoro. Sarà meraviglioso! Nonvediamo l’ora anche di incontrare i nostri amici italiani e di trascorrere insiememomenti meravigliosi a Campalto.

Kate: the story of a girl who lost her earring…and lots of rights.

In the story of Kate, the young Cinderella of our days, we have seen that a lotof children’s rights weren’t respected.

The right to receive protection from exploitation

In the story, Emma, Kate’s stepmother, makes her to work at the age offourteen!!! But everywhere in the world, each child has to go to school and tobe protected against all forms of exploitation. According to every country’sConvention of Human Rights, a child can’t work or can’t be obliged to do heavyand dangerous jobs before an appropriate minimum age that in Italy is 16. Inour opinion this is one of the most important right because it helps children tobe respected and protected from every kind of violence.

The right to express your own opinion

In our modern version of Cinderella, Kate has to face the painful experience ofleaving her own country, the Philippines, and moving somewhere else. Thismeans a new country, Italy, a new house, other people she doesn’t know: a

stepmother and two stepsisters. Nobody asks her how she feels, what are herfears or her wishes or what she would like to in order to improve her condition.So she is very sad and she cries because nobody listens to her. We think thatevery child has the right to express his/her opinion, even in difficult situationsand to take important decisions. The right of speech and the right to be listenedto are fundamental, also to protect oneself and not to be accused withoutreason. Adults have the duty to listen to children.

The right to receive education

Kate is working at a hotel in Venice, she had gone to school when she lived inthe Philippines, but she realizes that she needs more education, she needs toimprove her knowledge and abilities, so she decides to go back to school in theevening to learn Italian. This is a good and wise decision because education isvery important not only to improve our personal growth but also to becomeuseful members of society. Education helps children grow, as water helpsplants to grow; education helps children to orientate in the world.

The right to have a family

Kate loses her family when she’s still young. It isn’t her fault but this is a difficultsituation for her because she misses all the love and the affection that a familycan give. Every child needs love and understanding for the full and harmoniousdevelopment of his/her personality; for this reason everyone has to have afamily, or adults to refer to and who would take care of him/her as a family.

The right to your own identity

In our story Cinderella grows up and finds her love. She wants herboyfriend to get to know her own language, the traditions and thelandscapes of the motherland. Every human being must be able to expresshis/her own identity. Every child must have a name and be able to preserveit. No one can change that name which will identify him/her for the wholelife. We think it is unjust to be called with a number, as it happened inconcentration camps. The right to cultural and personal identity is vital.

A kizsákmányolás elleni jog .

Emma, Kate mostohaanyja arra kényszeríti a lányt, hogy 14 éves korábandolgozzon. A gyerekeknek a világ minden országában iskolába kell járniuk. A

nemzetközileg elfogadott Emberi Jogok Egyezménye szerint gyerekek nemdolgozhatnak, kiváltképp nem kényszeríthetők nehéz és veszélyes munkárabizonyos életkor alatt. Ez a korhatár Olaszországban a 16. életév.Véleményünk szerint ez az egyik legfontosabb, gyermekeket megillető jog azerőszaktól való védelem érdekében.

A szabad véleménynyilvánítás joga

A Hamupipőke modern változatában Kate-nek szembe kell néznie azzal afájdalmas ténnyel, hogy el kell hagynia hazáját, a Fülöp- szigeteket, ésmáshová kell költöznie. Ez egy új országot, Olaszországot, új otthont, ésszámára ismeretlen embereket: egy mostohaanyát és két mostohatestvértjelent. Senki sem kérdezi meg tőle, mitől fél, mitől érezné jobban magát. Katenagyon szomorú, sokat sír, mert nem hallgatják meg. Szerintünk mindengyereknek megvan a joga ahhoz, hogy elmondja a véleményét, és a felnőttekmeghallgassák.

A tanuláshoz való jog

Kate Velencében egy hotelben dolgozik. A Fülöp- szigeteken iskolába kellettjárnia. Rájön, hogy képeznie kell magát, ezért elhatározza, hogy esténkéntolaszul tanul. Okosan dönt, hiszen a tanulás nagyon fontos. Nem csak azért,hogy a személyisége fejlődjön, hanem azért is, hogy így a társadalom hasznostagjává válhasson.

A családhoz való jog

Kate még fiatal korában elveszti családját. Emiatt nagyon nehéz a sorsa,hiszen nem kap szeretetet, gyengédséget. Minden gyereknek szüksége vanszeretetre, megértésre ahhoz, hogy személyisége harmonikusan fejlődjön.

Nella storia di Kate, una giovane Cenerentola dei nostri giorni, abbiamo vistoche alcuni diritti garantiti dalla Convenzione dell’O.N.U. a tutti i bambini eragazzi del Mondo, non sono stati rispettati, non sono stati garantiti, anche sela storia si svolge nel nostro tempo e nel nostro Paese.

Diritto alla protezione contro lo sfruttamento

Nella storia la matrigna di Kate la manda a lavorare a 14 anni...ma in ogniangolo del mondo ogni bambino, ogni ragazzo deve andare a scuola e deveessere protetto dallo sfruttamento da parte degli adulti. Infatti, finché non hal’età giusta secondo la legge del Paese in cui vive (16 anni in Italia), non develavorare e comunque non può essere impiegato in lavori pesanti e dannosi perla sua salute. Secondo noi questo diritto è uno dei più importanti perché tutela

ragazzi e bambini che da soli non hanno la facoltà di proteggersi da qualsiasisopruso.

Diritto di esprimere la propria opinione

Nella storia della nostra Cenerentola moderna, la protagonista si trova davantiad una situazione dolorosa: deve lasciare la propria isola e andare a vivere inun altro Paese, in un’altra casa, abitare con altre persone che non conosce.Nessuno le chiede cosa ne pensa, cosa desidera, di cosa ha paura, nemmenocosa potrebbe fare per migliorare la sua situazione. Così lei piange sconsolataperché nessuno la ascolta. Noi pensiamo che ogni bambino abbia il diritto diesprimere le proprie opinioni, anche nelle situazioni gravi e anche per operarele scelte per la propria vita. Egli ha il diritto di essere ascoltato dagli adulti. Ildiritto di parola e il diritto all’ascolto sono molto importanti anche per nonessere accusato di cose che magari non hai mai fatto.

Diritto all’educazione

Kate lavora, nelle Filippine era già andata a scuola, ma si rende conto che lasua preparazione non è completa, così va alla scuola serale per imparare lalingua del Paese in cui vive. Fa molto bene perché l’educazione èfondamentale nella crescita di una ragazza che è come una piccola pianta: percrescere correttamente ha bisogno di un paletto che la sostenga e non la facciaandare verso la cattiva via. Se un bambino ha una buona educazione saràinoltre già preparato per la vita e per il mondo del lavoro.

Diritto alla famiglia

A Kate viene a mancare la famiglia quando è ancora giovane. E’ una situazionedifficile, lei non ne ha colpa, e tuttavia può accadere. Ma la Convenzione deidiritti dell’infanzia ci dice che ogni bambino ha diritto ad avere protezione eamore per crescere e se la sua famiglia non è in grado di darglielo bisognaaiutarlo ad avere protezione e amore da altri adulti, come un’altra famiglia.Secondo noi questo diritto è molto importante.

Diritto alla propria identità

Nella nostra storia un po’ alla volta Kate diventa grande, trova l’amore e vuolefar conoscere al suo partner la sua lingua, le tradizioni e i paesaggi dellapropria terra. Lei sa che ogni essere umano deve poter esprimere la propriaidentità. Ogni bambino inoltre deve poter avere un nome e conservarlo, nomeche nessuno potrà cambiargli e che lo identificherà per la vita. Per noi è bruttoed ingiusto esser chiamati con un numero, come succedeva nei campi diconcentramento. Questo diritto all’identità personale e culturale è moltoimportante.

We, parents, cannot be grateful enough for teachers in both Hungary and Italy,who put so much work, effort, and energy into the Cinderella project, which hasturned out to be a wonderful learning experience for our kids. Our children havelearnt tremendous lot about cooperation, discipline, and the joy of workingtogether. This experience is for a lifetime. And the fact that they have learnt andpracticed English in real-life situations is only an extra benefit. Thank you all formaking it happen.

Mi, szülők nem lehetünk elég hálásak a magyar- és olaszországi tanároknak,akiknek a hihetetlenül sok munkája és erőfeszítése eredményeképpen létrejötta Hamupipőke projekt. Ennél élvezetesebbé már nem is tehették volna atanulási folyamatot. Gyerekeink rengeteget tanultak az együttműködésről, afegyelmezett munkáról, és a közös alkotás öröméről. Biztosak vagyunk benne,hogy életre szóló élmény lesz. Az a tény pedig, hogy közben angolul is tanultakés a nyelvet valós helyzetekben használták, már csak hab a tortán. Köszönjük,hogy a közös Hamupipőke megtörténhetett.

Kate Oh yes, I know, I thought to find a better situation for me, I feellike a Cinderella. Do the dusting, make the beds, tidy therooms, change towels, but I’m happy, all the same. I’m here inone of the most beautiful cities in the world, Venice, and I’mlearning to speak Italiano: salve, buongiorno sir, arrivederci,che brutte le sorelle, ostregheta, this is the Venetian word Ilearned at the Italian course I’m attending. There are otheryoung foreign people like me. We have fun together. And theteacher…oh the teacher! He’s really fantastic, so nice and sohelpful! Ooppsss, but what is it? Is there someone under thesheets? Oh no, but, he is a young boy! Wow, so handsome!His hair are so blond and curly. What about his eyes? Arethey green, or blue, or dark? Oh no! He’s moving! Oh my god,he is waking up.

Kate runs out the room, she stumbles against a chair and the boy wakes upand sees her escaping.

Andrea What a nice girl!!! Is it a dream?

Palazzo Ducale: alla festa tutti gli ospiti indossano le maschere, sidivertono, mentre danzano mangiano e bevono. Andrea e i suoi amici sonocircondati da molte ragazze e ballano.

Andrea Ehi ragazzi, vi state divertendo? Balliamo e divertiamoci, cisono così tante splendide ragazze.

Amici E’ una splendida festa, così tante ragazze, musica da sballo,spritz e divertimento!

Le matrigne e le sorellastre guardano passare il corteo nuziale.

A casa davanti al caminetto. Kate e Andrea sono sposati ed una figlia. Vivonoin una bella casa e stanno raccontando ai figli la storia del loro amore.

Bambina Raccontaci come vi siete incontrati. Dai, papà! Sì, sì, la vostrastoria d’amore! Racconta per favore, mamma!

Mamma e papà Ok ok! C’era una volta…

Kate C’era una ragazza molto carina che veniva dalle Filippine.

Andrea No! C’era una bellissima ragazza che veniva dalle Filippine.

Kate E un giorno incontrò un giovane altrettanto bello, veramenteaffascinante, ma lui apparteneva all’alta società ed era anche un po’….

FRANCESCO ZORZINI (1980)

Pianista, direttore di coro e compositore inizia i propri studi con il maestro DavideLiani per diplomarsi in pianoforte (con il maestro Giorgio Lovato) e in composizione,con il massimo dei voti, sotto la guida del maestro Riccardo Vaglini, presso ilconservatorio “Benedetto Marcello” di Venezia. È particolarmente attivo comecollaboratore nello studio del canto lirico, lavorando con i nomi più importanti dellascena italiana ed internazionale: Raina Kabaivanska, Sherman Lowe, StefanSchreiber (Staatsoper di Stoccarda) e il soprano Francesca Scaini, con cui sostieneanche un’intensa attività concertistica. Appassionato didatta vanta una decennaleesperienza come docente di pianoforte, armonia e solfeggio in diverse scuolemusicali friulane. Ha recentemente pubblicato per le Edizioni Ars Publica il volumedidattico 10 nuovi solfeggi cantati. Tramite l'Associazione Culturale Musicale Kairòs(Camino al Tagliamento) organizza eventi di didattica musicale avanzatarelativamente al canto lirico, allo studio del pianoforte ed alla direzione corale.

Sempre tramite l’associazione Kairòs si fa promotore, organizzatore e direttoreartistico di alcune importanti manifestazioni culturali musicali, tra le quali il festival dimusica contemporanea Camino Contro Corrente. In collaborazione conassociazioni culturali attive nel territorio, dirige stabilmente dal 2000 la “CoraleCaminese” di Camino al Tagliamento, nonché il coro “I Cantori del Friuli” di Udine esostiene una intensa attività concertistica come direttore di coro e di orchestraesibendosi in Italia e all'estero. L’attività di compositore lo ha portato alla scritturadell’inno “De nativitate Domini” su testo di San Paolino d’Aquileia, che è statoeseguito nelle maggiori chiese friulane e alla pubblicazione dei brani “Studio dipropagazione” e “Intermezzo avanti il Credo” presso la casa editrice Ars Publica diAvenza (MC). Il suo brano “Serenata d’addio” (ed. Ars Publica) per orchestrad’archi è stato eseguito nell’ambito della Biennale Musica di Venezia 2010dall’Orchestra del Teatro La Fenice. Il suo brano corale “Libera me” (editoanch'esso presso Ars Publica) è stato eseguito nel settembre del 2012 presso ilprestigioso The Eleventh Hour Theatre a Fitzroy (Australia) in un concertopromosso dall' Astra chamber music sciety ed eseguito dal The Astra Choir direttodal M° John McCaughey. Sempre per Ars Publica ha pubblicato il brano “VorèsSintì” (2011) per coro, il brano “Ecce ancilla Domini” (2011) per soprano e quartettod’archi - eseguito per la prima volta in occasione del Gran Concerto perl'Immacolata nella Basilica dei Santi Giovanni e Paolo a Venezia l'8 dicembre 2011dal soprano Francesca Scaini. Per le Edizioni Carrara di Bergamo ha curato nel2010 la pubblicazione del primo volume dell'Opera Omnia del compositore DavideLiani.
