Experience a ‘culture of encounter’ by standing in Solidarity with forced migrants and refugees. Development and Peace is inviting you to their Lenten Workshop on February 9th at Newman Theo-logical College (10012 84 St. NW) from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Come and learn more about forced migration. In the morning, we will take part in a formation session of Share the Journey cam-paign, learning and reflecting on the 68.5 million displaced children, women and men. In the afternoon there will be a participatory workshop facilitated by the Edmonton Development and Peace Council. The goal is to work out the next steps to advance the cause of social justice in our parishes, families, and communities! In the spirit of lent, we will share a very frugal lunch.
