Introduction

For 2000 years, Christians have expressed their biblicalfaith through catechisms. They are used to train children andyouth. They also strengthen the faith of adults and help over-come error.

I Belong to God is like many other ancient and contempo-rary catechisms. Many church leaders in Africa, Europe andthe Americas contributed to writing it.

This catechism is intended for use in the family and thechurch. It can also be used for personal reading and medita-tion. We pray that it will help you trust in the great King Jesus. He loves you and gave his life for you.
