Set up the common remit vendor in the ftp address and control tables. Setup all accounts in the edi account table. If remit vendor setup – then also add the remit vendor to the EDIVENDNO on the vendor master Any program controls (which aren’t many)

How to setup Incoming EDI214 Land Air Statuses in Worldtrak

Setup IncomingEDI214 app if brand new

Setup necessary tables- Use the documentation attached below to complete the following steps:

FTP Address Vendor accounts that are now valid for edi

Land Air accounts are typically grouped by RemitVendor so querying this is a good place to start to determine what account # to use. Set up the common remit vendor in the ftp address and control tables. Setup all accounts in the edi account table.

If remit vendor setup – then also add the remit vendor to the EDIVENDNO on the vendor master

Any program controls (which aren’t many)Status translation (takes edi status code and translates to Worldtrak status code)

See if customer would like the defaults loaded for Land Air. If so, setup is available in the Land Air Mapping file. Customer should review this setup to make sure the status update applies to the correct Land Air service.

Note: all cross references are setup as ‘tracking note only’, to allow user to see status come in and turn on updates once comfortable with how they are hitting their shipments.

Monitor for first several updates to make sure matching of shipment/vendor cost line is working (Look at tracking notes and the IncomingEDi214.log file for examples)
