How to Install a Symantec SSL Certificate on Parallels Plesk Control Panel

Certificate account. Copy the intermediate certificate and paste it on a text editor then save it as
a .crt file.
Select a certificate from a list on the page of ‘Certificate Repository’.
Upload the .crt file on the SSL certification creation page by clicking ‘Browse’ and selecting your
.crt file (intermediate certificate).
Hit ‘Send File’ once you have selected the correct file to be uploaded.
Because Parallels Plesk has a user interface that is much easier to browsing files, webmasters don’t have
to manually upload the SSL Certificates on internet directories.
After you have uploaded the intermediate Symantec certificate, you can now download the Symantec
SSL Certificate and upload it on your Parallels Plesk Control Panel without manual uploading process.
Just download the SSL Certificate file from your email or copy the embedded certificate file from your
email and paste it on a text editor and save it as a .crt file. Once you have your .crt file, you can now
easily upload it through Parallels Plesk Control Panel.
Go to Parallels Plesk Panel. At the ‘Certificate Repository’ page, hit the ‘Add’ button.
Browse the file that you have just saved (from step 2) and select it.
Press ‘Send File’ and you’re done.
The installation process is now complete and you have to restart the Parallels Plesk Control Panel for the
changes to take place. Your website will be protected by the Symantec SSL Certificate that you have
installed using Parallels Plesk Control Panel after you have restarted the server.
This is quite beneficial for website owners who find it hard to manually upload their SSL Certificates on
the directories of their web server.
