The meeting was called to order by Mayor Derrick Walker on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. Mayor Walker gave the invocation which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Upon roll call, the following council members were present: Shelly Hauge, Randy Meidinger, Dan Imdieke, Dennis Morris, Linda Schumacher-Kelsch. Absent: Jon Ptacek. Also present: City Admin-istrator/Auditor Sharon Jangula.
Visitors: None.The purpose of the special
meeting was to discuss contract negotiating strategy for the posi-tion of Director of Public Works.
It was noted that the Council may enter into executive session for the discussion of this topic un-der ND Century Code 44-04-19.1 (9). After discussion, a motion was made by Randy Meidinger and seconded by Shelly Hauge to enter into executive session for the purpose of discussing
contract negotiating strategy for the position of Director of Public Works. Unanimous aye vote; motion carried.
The Council entered into executive session at 6:05 p.m.
At 6:34 p.m., a motion was made by Dan Imdieke and sec-onded by Randy Meidinger to exit executive session and reconvene the open portion of the meeting. Unanimous aye vote; motion carried.
A motion was made by Shelly Hauge and seconded by Dan Imdieke to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned.
