CAREER THREE-POINTERS With 2 made three-pointers against the Phoenix Suns on 2/4, Kemba Walker became the franchise’s all-time leader for three-point field goals made with 930, passing Dell Curry who had 929 in his ten-years in Charlotte. Walker currently sits at 1,023 three-point field goals. This came days after Walker set a franchise record for three-pointers made in a game when he recorded 9 on 13 attempts at Atlanta on 1/31 CAREER FREE THROWS On 3/28, Kemba Walker recorded five made free throws on five attempts, bringing his career total to 2,003, setting a new franchise record for career free throws. His first made free throw of the night brought him to 1,999 breaking Gerald Wallace’s record of 1,998. Walker’s record currently sits at 2,018 career free throws. SINGLE GAME THREE-POINTERS In the Hornets win over Memphis on 3/22, Kemba Walker recorded 46 points on 13-18 shooting from the field, including 10 three-point field goals on 14 attempts. Walker’s 10 made three-pointers set a new franchise record for most three-point field goals in a single game, breaking his own previous record of 9 (at ATL, 1/31/18). Walker joins Golden State’s Curry as the only players in the league to record 10 three-point field goals in a single game this season. 30-POINT GAMES With his 46 points against Memphis on 3/22, Kemba Walker recorded his 55th career game with 30-or-more points, the most ever recorded by a Charlotte player, breaking Glen Rice’s record of 54 such games. Walker currently has 56 such games in his seven-year career. Walker has recorded 14 games this season in which he scored 30-or-more points. He has logged at least ten such games in each of the last three seasons, compared to recording five or fewer such games in each of his first four seasons. 20-POINT GAMES In Charlotte’s defeat of Milwaukee on 11/1/17, Kemba Walker scored 26 points on 8-12 shooting, including 3-4 from three-point range and a perfect 7-7 from the free-throw line. This was Walker’s sixth 20-plus point outing of the season and the 193rd of his career, setting a new franchise record of 20-point games. He passed Larry Johnson, who held the record with 192. Walker currently has 237 career games with 20-or-more points and 50 this season. Walker has had 50-or more such games in each of the last two seasons. FREE-THROW STREAK Kemba Walker entered the 3/28 game against Cleveland riding a streak of 43-consecutive free throws. Walker had previously made 43-straight free throws in 2016-17, as well as Dell Curry (done twice) and D.J. Augustin for the franchise’s longest free-throw streak. With his first made free throw of the night, Walker became the only player in Charlotte history to make 44 straight, and extended his streak to 48 by the night’s end. The seventh year pro connected on 53-straight free throw from 3/10 at Phoenix – 4/1 vs. Philadelphia before missing a shot from the line. Walker’s streak was the fifth-most consecutive free throws made in the league this season.

THE BUZZ MARVELOUS MARVIN In the Hornets’ season finale at Indiana on 4/10, Marvin Williams scored 15 points on a career-high tying five made three-point field goals on nine attempts. The 13-year veteran finished the 2017-18 season shooting a career-high .413 from three-point range. Williams connected on 126 three pointers this season on 305 attempts, his second-highest season total of his career. UPTOWN MONK In the Hornets’ loss to the Pacers on 4/8, rookie Malik Monk scored 22 points on 8-17 shooting, including 3-11 from deep. In the win in Orlando on 4/6, Monk scored a career-high 26 points (prev: 25 vs. MIL, 11/1) on 8-14 shooting, including 4-6 from beyond the arc along with a career-high tying 8 assists (last: at MIN, 11/5). In his previous outing vs. the Bulls on 4/3, Monk scored 21 points on 8-15 shooting from the field, including 5-10 from beyond three. He is the first Charlotte rookie to have three-consecutive 20-point games since Walter Hermann had four-straight in 2007 (3/30 – 4/4). His five made three-point field goals against Chicago tie his career high (last: at NYK, 11/7). GETTING TO THE LINE The Hornets are averaging a league-leading 27.0 free-throws attempted per game. Charlotte has attempted 2,216 free throws through 82 games compared to just 1,494 free throws attempted by Charlotte’s opponents. The +722 free throws attempted margin for Charlotte ranks 1st in the NBA and is the largest by any team in a season since the 1985-86 Philadelphia 76ers margin of 769. The Hornets are the first team to lead the league in attempts while allowing the fewest FTA by opponents since the same 76ers team did so in the 1985-86 season. SINGLE SEASON IMPACT In his first season in Charlotte, Hornets center Dwight Howard has been working his way up the single season record lists in a Charlotte uniform. Below is a look at the records he has set:

Most rebounds in a single-season with 1012 (previous: 899, Larry Johnson 1991-92).

Most defensive rebounds in a single season with 757 (previous: 649, Anthony Mason 1997-98).

Most 20 rebound games in a single season with 7 (previous: 3, Emeka Okafor 2006-07)

Most 20 point, 20 rebound games in a single season 3 (previous: 2, Larry Johnson 1993-94/Emeka Okafor 2007-08)

Most double-doubles in a single season with 53 (previous: 49, Larry Johnson 1992-93) 40-POINT FLURRY In the Hornets’ win over the Grizzlies on 3/22, Kemba Walker scored 46 points on 13-18 shooting, including 10-14 from deep along with three boards, four assists and a steal. This was Walker’s fifth 40-point game this season after scoring 40 against Portland on 2/8, 41 against Indiana on 2/2, 41 against Dallas on 1/10 and 47 at Chicago on 11/17. This is a career-high number of such games for Walker and he is only the second Charlotte player to record as many since Glen Rice had seven such games in 1996-97. Walker is currently one of just three NBA players to record five games of 40-points or more this season. 30 FOR 30: A HORNETS ORIGINAL In the Hornets’ 111-105 win over the Nets on 3/21, Dwight Howard scored 32 points on 10-17 shooting and brought down a career-high 30 rebounds (prev: 26, done multiple times). Howard’s 30 rebounds set a new franchise single-game rebound record for Charlotte (previous: 25, E. Okafor 12/29/06). Howard is one of only three players to have 30-or-more rebounds in the last 20 years (Andrew Bynum, 4/11/12 and Kevin Love, 11/12/10). Howard is only the ninth player in the NBA to have a 30-point, 30-rebound game since 1963 and the first to do so since Kevin Love in 2010. THREE’S COMPANY In the Hornets’ win over Memphis on 3/22, Kemba Walker connected on a franchise-record 10 three-point field goals on 14 attempts. This is the 11th time this season Walker has recorded five-or-more three-point field goals. He has recorded 26 such games over the last two seasons, compared to just nine such games in his first five years in the league. This season, Walker totaled the fourth most three-pointers made in the league and the most in the Eastern Conference this season with 231. Walker, who connected on 370 three-point field goals in his first four seasons in the league, has made 651 shots from deep since the start of the 2015-16 season. Walker’s 73 made three-pointers since the All-Star break are the second most made three-pointers in the NBA since the break.

HISTORY FOR HOWARD In the Charlotte’s loss to Chicago on 4/3, Dwight Howard recorded his 50th double-double of the season with 23 points, 17 rebounds and three assists. His 50 double-doubles are the most recorded in a season in franchise history (previous: 49, Larry Johnson 1992-93). Dwight Howard now holds the record for the most double-doubles in a season with two different franchises (Charlotte and Orlando). He joins Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Wilt Chamberlain as the only players in NBA history to hold the record for two different franchises. Howard is currently the active leader in career double-doubles with 716.

THE BUZZ THE DWIGHT STUFF In Charlotte’s win over Dallas on 3/24 Dwight Howard had his 45th double-double of the season with 18 points and 23 rebounds. Howard has recorded seven games this season with 20-or-more rebounds, with two of these games coming in his last four appearances. Howard’s seven such games this season are the most 20-rebound games he has recorded in a season since logging eight games in 2010-11 with Orlando. His seven 20-rebound games are the most total games of 20-plus rebounds in franchise history (prev: 6, Okafor 2004-09). HISTORIC HORNETS In Charlotte’s 140-79 win over Memphis on 3/22, the Hornets scored a season-high number of points (prev: 133 vs. IND, 2/2) while holding Memphis to a season-low points allowed (prev: 87 vs. LAC, 11/18). The 61-point margin of victory is the largest in Charlotte’s franchise history (prev: 52, 136-84 vs. PHI, 2/27/92) and is the largest in the NBA this season (prev: 49, GSW vs. CHI, 143-94, 11/24/17). The 75-42 halftime score gave the Hornets a 33-point advantage at the half, the largest half-time lead ever held by a Charlotte team (prev: 32, at DEN 1/31/15). The 112 points Charlotte amassed through three quarters is the highest three-quarter points total in franchise history (prev: 111 vs. ATL, 11/20/90). DON’T CALL IT A COMEBACK In Charlotte’s win over Brooklyn on 3/21, the Hornets trailed by as many as 23 points in the third quarter (82-59), before coming back to win the contest 111-105. This is the largest deficit overcome by the franchise to win a game on the road (prev: 22 at BOS, 11/26/95). A few notes on other notable comeback wins this season:

Charlotte recorded a 115-110 win over the Phoenix Suns on 2/4 after trailing by 21 points in the third quarter.

Charlotte trailed by as many as 11 points in the first half and was down by nine with 3:32 left in regulation before forcing overtime and earning a 129-124 win over Washington on 11/22.

The Hornets recorded a 109-91 win on 10/20 vs. Atlanta in their home opener after trailing by as many as 20 points in the second quarter.

DOUBLE DOSE OF DWIGHT Dwight Howard recorded a double-double in twelve consecutive games (1/13-2/4) which is the third longest streak in the NBA overall this season. It also marks his personal longest double-double streak since he had 14 during the 2012-13 season. Howard is ranked 4th overall in the NBA with 52 double-doubles this season and 2nd in the Eastern Conference behind only Detroit’s Drummond (62). Howard’s 53 double-doubles this season are the most in a season in franchise history.

TAKING A LONG WALK In the Hornets’ win over Memphis on 3/22 Kemba Walker had a historic night. Walker scored 46 points through just three quarters of play, his 55th career game with 30-or-more points, a franchise record of such games (prev: G. Rice, 54). His points came on 13-18 shooting from the field, including a franchise-record 10 made three-point field goals on 14 attempts (prev: 9, K. Walker, at ATL, 1/31). He joins Golden State’s Curry as the only players in the league to record 10 three-point field goals in a single game this season. Walker finished the first half with 35 points, tying his own franchise record for points in a half (las: vs. ORL, 12/27/14). His 10 three-pointers brought his career total to 1,006, making him the first player in franchise history to reach 1,000 career three-pointers. HOWARD THE HORNET

Hornets center Dwight Howard has been a force inside for Charlotte in his 81 appearances, including putting up historic rebounding numbers. He

has 53 double-doubles thus far putting him at 719 career double-doubles, a category he’s the active leader in. Some notes on his performances

below:

With 18 points and 14 rebounds at Phoenix on 2/4, Dwight Howard recorded his 700th career double-double, becoming just the 8th player in the NBA since 1963 to reach 700 in their career. He joins Tim Duncan, Karl Malone, Hakeem Olajuwon, Kevin Garnett, Shaquille O’Neal, John Stockton and Charles Barkley in this category.

Howard brought down 15-or-more rebounds in eight consecutive games from 1/10-1/27 setting a franchise record for the longest such streak and a personal career-high streak of such games. He is the only NBA player to record a streak of 8-or-more games this season. This was the second streak Howard had of consecutive games with 15-or-more rebounds since he had 5 straight to begin the season from 10/18-10/27. Per Elias Sports, this tied the longest streak of 15+ rebound games to start a season in the last 45 years (C. Barkley 1998-99).

With 798 points, 636 rebounds and 85 blocks through the Hornets first 50 games Howard became just the third player to total 750+ points, 500+ rebounds and 50+ blocks through 50 games for Charlotte, joining Gerald Wallace (09-10) and Emeka Okafor (06-07).

His 28 15+ rebound games ranks third in the NBA (53, Drummond, DET and 45, Jordan, LAC). WILLY WILLY In the Hornets win over Orlando on 4/6, Willy Hernangomez recorded 11 points and 12 rebounds, good for his fourth double-double of the season and his third in Charlotte. His 12 boards tie his season high (last: vs. MEM, 3/22). Hernangomez has scored ten-or-more points in five of his last six outings (3/26 – 4/6).

THE BUZZ KEMBA’S 20-POINT PUSH Hornets guard Kemba Walker has had 50 games this season of 20+ points through his 80 games played and is the first player in franchise history to reach 200 career games with 20-or-more points. Walker is the second leading scorer among point guards in the Eastern Conference with 22.1 points per game this season (Irving, BOS) and ranks sixth overall in the NBA (Harden, HOU, Lillard, POR, Curry, GSW, Westbrook, OKC and Irving, BOS). TAKING CARE OF THE ROCK In the 131-111 win at Sacramento on 1/2, the Hornets recorded a season-low three turnovers (previous: 7 vs. POR, 12/16). Charlotte’s three turnovers set a new franchise record for fewest turnovers on the road (5, done multiple times, last at DEN, 3/4/17) and missed tying the franchise record for fewest turnovers in a game by one (low: 2 vs, MIL, 3/28/17). The Hornets are averaging just 12.7 turnovers per game, good for third fewest in the NBA. BATTLE ON THE BOARDS Charlotte is first in the NBA in defensive rebounding percentage at 80.7% and seventh in overall rebounding percentage at 51.0%. The Hornets have outrebounded their opponents by 1.8 rebounds per game this season. Charlotte ranks tied for third in the league with 45.5 rebounds per game. Charlotte’s strong rebounding numbers are boosted by the NBA’s third leading rebounder per game, Hornets center Dwight Howard who is averaging 12.6 per game. SIXTH MAN LAMB In Charlotte’s loss to Indiana on 4/8, Jeremy Lamb scored 12 points off the bench, marking his career-high 45th appearance in which he scored at least 10 points as a reserve this season. Through his 2-plus seasons in Charlotte Lamb has recorded 101 games with double-digit scoring as a reserve, good for second most in franchise history (Dell Curry, 455). Lamb is currently the fourth highest scoring reserve in the Eastern Conference, averaging 12.2 points per game when coming off the bench with a minimum of 59 appearances as a reserve. Lamb has 94 made three-point field goals this season, marking a new career high for threes made in a single season (prev: 88 in 2013-14 with OKC). BOARDING BATUM In the Hornet’s win against the Suns on 3/10, Nic Batum logged his sixth double-double of the season with 29 points and 12 rebounds to go along with eight assists and one steal. This was Batum’s second highest rebound total this season (13 at PHI 3/2) and only the fourth time this season Batum led the team in rebounds in a game. BLOCK PARTY Dwight Howard recorded 18 points, 15 rebounds and a season-high seven blocks against the Hawks on 1/26. This was Howard’s third game with six-or-more blocks this season, after swatting as many shots at Chicago on 12/8 and vs. Sacramento on 1/22. He is the first Charlotte player to record multiple games with six blocks since Bismack Biyombo recorded three in 2011-12. With his four blocks at Miami on 1/27 Dwight Howard recorded his 2000th career block, becoming only the 19th player in NBA history to record 2000 or more blocks. With one block vs. Cleveland on 3/28 Howard recorded his 2,038th career block, passing Kevin Garnett (2,037) for 17th place in NBA History. 20/20 VISION: In the Hornets 111-119 loss to Chicago on 12/08 Dwight Howard finished with 25 points, 20 rebounds and six blocks. The performance marked his second 20 point, 20 rebound game as a Hornet (25 points, 20 rebounds vs. MIN 11/20). He is only the third Charlotte player with multiple 20/20 games in a single season joining Larry Johnson (93-94) and Emeka Okafor (07-08). With 51 such games of 20 points and 20 rebounds, Howard is the active leader in the NBA (2nd: Andre Drummond with 20). Additionally, Howard had four games this season with 20 or more rebounds through just the first 24 games, setting a new franchise record for 20-rebound games in a season (previous: three, Rambis, 1988-89 and Okafor, 06-07). STARRY EYED On Feb. 8, 2018, Kemba Walker was selected as an Eastern Conference All-Star for the second consecutive year. He finished the game with 11 points, two rebounds and an assist in 14 minutes off the bench, helping Team LeBron to a 148-145 win. Walker is the seventh player to represent Charlotte in the NBA All-Star game and just the fourth to do so multiple times, joining Larry Johnson (1993 and 1995), Alonzo Mourning (1994 and 1995) and Glen Rice (1996, 1997 and 1998).

THE BUZZ CENTER OF ATTENTION Dwight Howard brought down 16 rebounds at Miami on 1/27 logging his eighth consecutive game with at least 15 rebounds, a career-high streak of such games. He is the only NBA player to record eight-straight such games this season. His eight consecutive games mark a franchise-high streak of games with at least fifteen rebounds. Dwight has had two different streaks of five or more games with 15+ rebounds this season. He is one of only three players to have multiple such streaks in a single season in the last decade (Jordan, LAC 2017-18, Kevin Love, MIN 2010-11). NIC-KEL AND DIMING In the Hornets win over Atlanta on 3/15 Nic Batum recorded his second triple-double of the season with 10 points, 10 rebounds and a career-high 16 assists (prev: 14 vs. ORL 1/8/14). This is Batum’s ninth career triple-double and his fifth in Charlotte, tying Larry Johnson for second most in franchise history. MAN IN THE MIDDLE Dwight Howard’s 9 rebounds in the Hornets’ 104-94 win over the Magic brought his career total to 12,361 and moved him into 19th place on the NBA’s all-time leader-board passing Paul Silas and Dikembe Mutombo (Silas, now 21st, 12,357 and Mutombo, now 20th, 12,359). His 20 points brought his total career points to 9,006 through his first seven seasons. Walker is only the second player in franchise history to reach 9,000 career points (Dell Curry, 9,839) and only the third player from the 2011 NBA draft class to reach this milestone (Irving and Thompson). FIVE IN A ROW With wins over Orlando, Brooklyn, Washington, Detroit and Chicago from 2/14-2/27 the Hornets recorded their longest winning-streak of the season. This is the first time Charlotte has recorded five-straight wins since winning seven in a row from 3/1 to 3/12/16. The final four wins of the stretch each came by margins of 15-points or more: +15 over Brooklyn, +17 over Washington, +16 over Detroit, +15 over Chicago. This is the first time in franchise history Charlotte has won four-straight games by 15-or-more points. Over this span Charlotte connected on 72 of 160 attempted three-pointers, good for 45.0% including a season-high 17 made threes at Washington on 2/23, good for the highest three-point percentage in the NBA over that span. Below are other Hornets numbers during these five games:

Charlotte ranked seventh in the NBA in assists per game at 27.4

Kemba Walker scored 41 points, grabbed three boards and dished nine assists while Nicolas Batum poured in 31 points, while logging nine rebounds and two assists. This marks the first time two Hornets players have scored 30-or-more points in the same game since Batum and Walker did so at LAC on 2/26/17.

K3MBA WALK3R to Brooklyn on 3/8, Kemba Walker connected on three three-point field goals on three attempts. This is just the sixth time in his career in which

Walker shot 100% from three when making multiple three-point field goal attempts. Walker made multiple three-pointers in 58 of his 80 appearances

this season.

SCORIN’ HORNETS In Charlotte’s 131-111 win at Sacramento on 1/2, eight Hornets players scored in double figures, including all five starters. The Hornets held a 72-52 lead at halftime, recording a new season high for points scored in a half (previous: 69 at NYK, 11/7). Their 72 first-half points were the second most first-half points on the road in franchise history (high: 74 at PHX, 2/25/06). The 20-point margin of victory was the largest margin of victory for Charlotte at this point in the season (previous: 18, done twice).
