Reverend Jones and Deacon Timothy Grif-fin have been developing the HOOP Foun-dation since 2006 with core programs that offer Youth Re-Entry, Athletics and Per-forming Arts. HOOP also provides Life Coaching—a unique approach to mentor-ing, tutoring and academic guidance. Vol-unteers from the community are relied upon to provide these services. HOOP’s Life Coaches come from all walks of life, including students pursuing professional degrees.

“Let the little Children come to me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the Kingdom of

God” (Luke 18:16)

The HOOP Foundation seeks to be a vital re-source in Los Angeles and to develop commu-nity partnerships to guarantee that a better road to success is paved for our common good.

The HOOP Foundation has successfully graduated youth from the program who have completed high school/GED programs, enrolled in college, and become role models for other youth.
