You will notice there are few, if any single pictures of my dad, Jim Rush.

That’s because the man doesn’t like to bring attention to himself. Most of the time, he is the one behind the camera taking the photos. Fortunately, we are able to get him to join the group photos from time to time. You have to admit, the guy is pretty photogenic - guess it takes one to know one in this business, eh?!

My dad is always busy tinkering with the best ways to bring attention to others. His attention to detail, and ability to bring out the best in others for their special days, never ceases to amaze all of us who know him on both sides of the camera lens. Jim Rush is an excellent caretaker,

provider, and supporter of all my efforts. I am proud to honor my father in this brief document. In the Bible, book of Exodus 20:12, we are called to recognize the people who God chose to use to bring us into the world. This day, October 5, I am thankful for my Dad, whom others may call Uncle Jim or Uncle Jimmy, and now “Poppa”:
