Scene 1:

Inside church (first day, Sunday, around morning)

A preacher is telling a story about Abraham sacrificing his son, Isaac, to God. Yuki-oh Aito, and

his son, Senechi, are both listening to his sermon.

Rev. Dominguez:

Here in the book of Genesis, we find the Lord asking Abraham to offer his son, Isaac, as a

sacrifice to Goda son that Abraham had long been praying and waiting for,

Then God said, Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the

region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you

about.

Senechi:

Whispers to his dad

Papa, why does God allow people to have their own children and later on takes them away. Is

God selfish? Is that why God took Mama away from us?

Rev. Dominguez:

Continues his preaching

and even though God promised Abraham that it is through Isaac that his descendants will

increase, Abraham still obeyed the Lord and went up to the region of Moriah with Isaac, to offer

his son to the Lord.

Scene 2:

Inside the Aitos house, Yuki-oh Aito watches the morning news on television while his son,

Senechi, is preparing to go to school (Monday morning)

TV News Reporter:

Many people have been calling our local news hotline today reporting that a lot of children have

been missing. It is suspected that these children have been kidnapped by a so-called religious

organization known as the Mora-ah. We do not know where the Mora-ah cult is hiding nor do we

know the reasons behind their actions. But as of now, these are the names of the children who

have been reported to be missing

Yuki-oh switch the TV off

School bus arrives and horns at the front of their house

Senechi:

Papa, the school bus is here. Im going. Bye!

Yuki-oh:

Alright. Be carefuland go home straight after school, okay?!

Senechi:

Shouts while running towards the bus so his father can hear him

Okay!!

Yuki-oh goes outside the house just after the school bus left and opens the mailbox. He found a

letter from one of his colleagues.

Yuki-oh:

Talks to himself

(Shakes his head) I knew the news had something to do about this.

Scene 3:

At Senechis high school campus, (same day)

Mrs. Kei, their teacher, is fascinating the mind of her students about what will happen at the end

of the world.

Mrs. Kei:

Acts very animated and scripted while lecturing her high school students about the end of the

world.

...and at the end of the age, the Lord himself will come down from heaven and there will a

trumpet blown by Gods archangeland those who are dead will rise first. And those who are

still aliveit may probably be you, children, or maybe your children, or your grandchildren

will be caught up in heaven to meet with the Lord.

Rhian [Senechis seatmate]:

Appears to be bored

Hey! [to Senechi] do you think thats true?

Senechi:

Also appears to be bored.

What?

Rhian:

You know, the archangel, the trumpet, the dead rising first, and then those who are still alive

will rise up to meet the Lord.

Senechi:

Probably. Thats what I heard from our church.

Rhian:

And you believe it?

Senechi shrugs his shoulders

Mrs. Kei:

Continues telling her story

And my children, all these things will happen in a twinkling of an eye. Imagine just one blink of

an eye and we will all be there up in the clouds. Do you know how fast that is?

Classmate 1:

She seems like shes in a trance.

Rhian and Senechi giggles

Scene 4:

Still inside the house (same day, later that morning)

Yuki-oh is talking to someone over the phone.

Yuki-oh:

No, I cant do what youre asking for. Its just not right. [pause] Yes, I know but that was a long

time agoand besides, you guys were gone. I didnt hear anything from you for several years. I

thought my family life was already safe. [pause] Now, I wont do it. [pause] Fine! (puts down

the phone)

Scene 5:

After school, Rhian and Senechi are sitting beside each other in the school bus.

Senechi:

Did you watch the news this morning?

What newsabout the children being kidnapped?

Senechi:

Yeah, glad that none of our classmates have been kidnapped

Rhian smiles at Senechi

Rhian:

Im pretty confident enough that we ourselves wont be kidnapped.

Senechi:

Who knows? They might just gatecrash on our campus.

Rhian:

Are you really that scared? The school really runs a tight securitythey didnt even allow me

to enter the campus when my ID was front-side back.

Senechi:

Its just that ever since my mom left, I just cant imagine myself kidnapped and be separated

from my dad. Hes the only one I have.

Rhian gives Senechi a comforting smile.

Scene 6:

Mora-ahs camp, (same day, night time)

The members of the Mora-ah cult are having a meeting.

My fellow members, we have been silent for a long time. Yet I thank all of you that you still

remain loyal to our organization. It is now time that we gather all our memberseven those who

have strayed away from us or those who think that they can get away from us.

Kisho:

What shall we do, Master, once we find them and bring them all back.

Master Akiyama:

As you all know I have sent some of our people to spy on our members who have gone astray. I

am very sad and disappointed that they have been overcome by the temptations of this world.

Nonetheless, as our God is merciful, so am I. We shall forgive and gather all of those who have

gone astrayyet it shall come with a pricetheir firstborns! We shall offer their firstborns to

our God.

The crowd cheers

Scene 7:

Aitos house (the following morning)

Yuki-oh is preparing breakfast. Senechis personal belongings are packed in a luggage. Senechi

enters the scene coming from his bedroom

Senechi:

Papa, did you see my(sees all his personal belongings that have been packed in a luggage)

whats all my stuff doing here?

From now on youre going to live with your Auntie Elena. You will be studying in another

school. She will take care of you.

Senechi:

Huh??

Yuki-oh:

Im going away.

Senechi:

Going away where?

Yuki-oh:

Here (hands him a sealed letter). Open it when youre ready. Everything has been explained in

that letter.

Senechi:

Are you serious? (Yuki-oh nods his head) You cant just do this to me! (throws away the letter)

You expect me to live in another house, to study in a different school. Youre expecting me to

change my life in an instant?!

Yuki-oh:

My son, trust me. This is whats best for you.

Senechi:

Whats best for me?! How do you know whats best for me? What about my school? What

about my friends? My classmates? What aboutyou?

Im going away in another country. Business matters. You probably wont see me for a long

time.

Senechi:

What country? And why did you only tell me now?

Yuki-oh:

Im going to the Philippines. The company called me yesterday and told me that they had to

send me there due to important matters that I had to deal with our client.

Senechi:

How long will you be in the Philippines?

Yuki-oh:

Im not really sure. It depends on how well I can arrange matters with our client.

Senechi:

Then why do I need to continue my studies in another school.

Yuki-oh:

Its in the letterbut only read when youre ready.

Senechi:

How long will you stay there? A week? A month? A year??

Yuki-oh:

I really dont know, son.

I just cant take this, Papa. Ever since Mama left us, I just couldnt help imagining myself being

left alone. Its only the two us now in the family and now youre leaving me alone. Youre the

only one I have. I just didnt expect this to happenand much worse, you only told me know

and you do not know when you are coming back.

Yuki-oh tries to comfort his son.

Scene 8:

In front Auntie Elenas residence (same day, later that afternoon)

Yuki-oh, along with his son, parks his car in front of the house.

Yuki-oh:

Youre ready?

Senechi nods his head. Auntie Elena enters the scene coming from her house.

Auntie Elena:

Oh there you are! Ive been waiting for you. (to Senechi) Youve grown up since the last time I

saw you. Im sure youre going to love this place. Here, let me help me with your luggage.

(whispers to Yuki-oh) Are you sure youre going to do this?

Yuki-oh:

Speaking softly to Elena

I have no other choice. I dont want my son to suffer the consequences of my actions in the past.

Take good care of him. (Elena nods and sympathizes with his brother Yuki-oh. Yuki-oh then

speaks to his son). Senechi, Ill try to come back as soon as possible. I wont be that long, I

promise. Goodbye.

Yuki-oh exits the scene. Senechi tries not to cry but cries anyway

Scene 9:

Auntie Elena and Senechi are having dinner together (the same day, evening)

Auntie Elena:

Were going to find you a good high school. But for the mean time, you might want to take up

summer classes so you can already proceed to senior year. Hey, where do you want to go

tomorrow? I took the day off. We can go to the park or watch a movie. If you want or we can go

to the beach.

Senechi:

I just want to be alone. Im going to unpack my things upstairs. By the way, can I use your

phone?

Auntie Elena:

Sure.

Scene 10:

Mora-ahs camp (same evening)

Yuki-oh enters the camp

Master Akiyama:

Mr. Aito, you came back. We thought you left our organization. And where is your sonyour

firstborn?

Yuki-oh:

Hes on his way.

Master Akiyama:

Quiet, Kisho! We shall not assume things in an instant. Instead, shouldnt we be happy that one

of our brothers has finally decided to come back? How are you, Yuki-oh?

Yuki-oh:

I know its hard for you to do this. I know that it will take you lots of time to gain strength and

courage to sacrifice your son. But remember that we want you to know that you are offering a

service to Godthink about the fragrant offering that you will bring to him.

Yuki-oh:

Softly whispers to himself

My allegiance does not belong here.

Kisho:

Scene 11:

Auntie Elenas house/Rhians house (same evening)

Senechi is talking to Rhian over the telephone

Rhian:

Whats up, Sen? Hey, I didnt see you in school this morning. Were you sick? Or you just didnt

want to go to school? Naughty you! [long pause] Sen? Are you crying?

My dad left. He went to the Philippines for some business matters but somehow, I have a

feeling that hes not telling me the truth.

Rhian:

Where are you?

Senechi:

Im in my Aunties house. He wanted me to stay here for the meantime. He also wanted me to

transfer to another school while hes gone.

Rhian:

You mean Im not going to see around school anymore? When is your dad coming back?

Senechi:

He didnt tell me. He told me that he had to talk to one of their clients in the Philippines and it

will just depend on how long they can arrange their business matters.

Rhian:

Well, hell come back, thats for sure! So, where are you going to study?

Senechi:

Im not sure yet. Auntie Elena told me that shes going to find me a good school.

Rhian:

Are you going to study in an all boys school? Or in a co-ed one? Youll probably meet a lot of

new friends once you study in a new school. You know? New classmates, new best friends, new

girlsyoull probably find yourself a girlfriend there. Hey, Im happy for you (realizes what she

has just said about finding a girlfriend)Im still going to see you around, right?

Rhian:

My parents wouldnt allow me to stay late at school or stay out of the house without someone

accompanying me ever since theyve heard about the Mora-ah kidnapping. Theyve become very

protective of me. You would still visit me here at my house, right Sen? Ill see you again, right?

Senechi:

Ill visit you. Dont worry.

Rhian:

You promise?

Senechi:

I promise.

Rhian tries to control her tears.

Scene 12:

Morah-ahs hideout, (After a week, late in the morning)

Master Akiyama:

Youre son has not arrived yet, Yuki-oh.

Yuki-oh:

He must have lost his way.

Kisho:

I told you he was lying!

Master Akiyama:

Enough of this! Yuki-oh, if your son does not arrive, then we ourselves shall find him. Youve

have given us enough information that will help us find your son.

I wont kill him.

Kisho:

Where does your loyalty lie, Yuki-oh?!

Master Akiyama:

Quiet, Kisho! We shall find his son.

Scene 13:

Auntie Elenas house (the same day)

Senechi enters the house.

Senechi:

Auntie, Im home!

How was your soccer practice?

Senechi:

Great! Auntie, can I go visit my friend, Rhian? I havent seen her for a long time.

Auntie Elena:

Rhian? The girl you always talk to on the phone? Is she your girlfriend? Sure! Why not? Just be

back before dinner time, okay?

Senechi:

No problem, Auntie. Ill just go to my bedroom and unpack my things.

Auntie Elena:

Hmmm...Rhian? I havent seen her face up until now. Why dont you invite her to dinner at our

house?

Senechi:

Id love to but her parents wont allow her to stay out of the house ever since the Mora-ah cult

has been kidnapping people.

Senechi proceeds to his bedroom and unpacked his things. While unpacking his things, He

suddenly saw the sealed letter that came from his dad just before he left. He opens the letter and

reads it.

Voice Over of Dad Yuki-oh while Senechi is reading the letter

My dearest son Senechi,

You might have opened this letter just after I left you at your Auntie Elenas house. Do

not be shocked about what Im going to tell you. In fact, probably while youre reading this,

I am still living in the same city as you are. Im part of the Mora-ah cult. They called me

yesterday to come to their camp, and they want you to come with me. Nevertheless, I did not

bring you with me. Do not look for me, Senechi, or else the consequences of your actions will

be priceless. This is the very reason why your mother left us. Its because of me.

Scene 14:

Flashback of Senechis mom, Kaiya, and Yuki-oh arguing (night time)

Yuki-oh enters the house

Kaiya:

Where have you been?!

Yuki-oh:

I was just hanging out with my friends.

Kaiya:

Hanging out with your friends, huh? Where?

Yuki-oh:

Some place

Kaiya:

Some place?! Tell me the truth? Where you in a club? Dont you like to be with me anymore?

Are you tired, bored of our relationship?

Yuki-oh:

No, sweetie. You know well that I really love you and Ill never, never get tired of our

relationship.

Then where have you been? Every night, you come home late and you always tell me that you

just went out your friends and we have the same argument over and over again. What about

Senechi? Dont you want to be with you son, anymore?

Yuki-oh:

Of course, I want to be with our family. I love to be with our family.

Then how come you always come home late?

Yuki-oh:

Im one of those Mora-ah cult. We have gatherings every night.

Scene 15:

Senechi continues reading his fathers letter

Voice Over of Dad Yuki-oh while Senechi is reading the letter

The following morning, your mother left the house. She was nowhere to be found. I

tried my best to be both a father and a mother to you. I was looking for answers. I didnt

know what to do. Youre Auntie Elena, introduced me to a new organization, a new religion.

And there I found I new family who was very willing to comfort me in my distress. That was

the time I stopped attending our gatherings at Mora-ah. You grew up to be a good man,

Senechi. It breaks my heart that I wont be seeing you again.

Senechi finishes reading his dads letter

Senechi:

He lied to me.

Senechi clashes all his things in his bedroom making very loud noises..

Auntie Elenaenters his bedroom.

Auntie Elena:

Senechi! What are you doing?!

Senechi:

Where did Papa go?!

Auntie Elena:

To the Philippines (acts a little bit confused).

Senechi:

Youre lying! And I know that you know where Papa is?

Auntie Elena:

I really dont know.

Senechi:

Look (shows her the letter)! Papa told me everything. He iswasis a member of Mora-ah

cultthose kidnappers. And I know that you know that, too!

Auntie Elena:

So he told you, ei?

Senechi goes out of his bedroom

Rhians house (same day)

Senechi knocks constantly and heavily on the door. Rhian opens the door and is excited to see

Senechi.

Rhian:

Sen, youre here (hugs Senechi)! My parents allowed me to go out with you as long as I come

back before dinner. So movies? Or do you want to go to the mall? Eat?? (notices that Senechi is

a bit quiet) Youre awfully quiet today, Sen? Arent you excited to see me?

Senechi:Papa did not go to the Philippines.

Hes one of them.

Rhian:

Senechi:

The cultthe Mora-ah cult.

Rhian:

I read the letter my dad gave just before he left me at my Auntie Elenas house. He told me

everything. The Mora-ah cult was one of the reasons why our mom left usand theyre also the

reason why my dad left me.

Rhian:

Thats unbelievable? What are you going to do?

Senechi:

Im going to look for my father.

Rhian:

Inside Aitos house, Senechi and Rhian are looking for clues that can lead them to the Mora-ah

camp (same day still)

Senechi:

There must be something here that I can find.

Rhian:

Are you really going to find your dad? Senechi, hes part of the Mora-ah cult. Those guys are

dangerous. There are even rumors that these people are killingbeheading children. You dont

know what they can do to you!

Senechi:

Hes my dad, Rhian!

Rhian:

Look, I feel for you but youve got to think about yourself, too. Probably, this is the very reason

why youre dad left you at your Aunties housefor your own safety!

Senechi:

What do you know all about this stuff, huh, Rhian?! If my dad is a kidnapper, then let him

kidnap me. And if my dad is a killer, then let him kill his own son! (tones down his own voice).

Id rather choose to be with my dad and live a miserable life than to live a happy life without

him.

Both of them remained silent for quite a while, trying to look for words to say.

Rhian:

Hey, look. Youve got a message (picks up the answering machine)..

prepared for your arrival. You know where our sanctuary is. Just go straight at Eastern Avenue

and once you find abandoned guardhouse, turn left then turn right at the second intersection. We

will wait for you there. Goodbye.

Senechi:

That is where theyre hiding.

Scene 19:

Senechi and Rhian are looking for the Mora-ahs hideout (same day, sundown)

Senechi:

You shouldnt have come along with me, Rhian.

Rhian:

Its really spooky here.

Senechi:

You have to go home now. Your parents might be looking for you.

Rhian:

Im worried about you.

Senechi:

Listen, Im going to see my dad. My dad whos part of a dangerous organizationan

organization whos kidnapping and beheading people! You dont have anything to do with this,

Rhian! Im going to bring you home!

We shall find your son, tomorrow. Sleep well, Yuki-oh.

Yuki-oh:

What if we cant find him?

Rhian and Senechi suddenly enter the scene and see Mr. Yuki-oh

Senechi:Shocked

Kisho approaches them

So, Yuki-oh, you werent lying after all. Your son came. Welcome to Mora-ah, Senechi, (notices

the girl Rhian beside him) and to you, too

Rhian:

Oh oh. I forgot all about the time. I was just happy for the two of you, Mr. Aito. I have to go

home now. My parents might be looking for me.

Yuki-oh:

Im afraid you have to stay here.

Rhian:

What do you mean, sir?

Yuki-oh exits the scene

Senechi:

I told you not to come with me.

Rhian:

Arent you happy you saw your dad again?

Senechi:

He seems to be aloof. He was shocked when he saw me. He didnt even seem to be excited.

Rhian:

Relax, Sen. He just didnt expect to see you here. He told you that he was going to the

Philippines, right? What do expect a father to say his son once he finds out that he wasnt telling

the truth?

Senechi:

I dont know. We used to really bond together.

Rhian:

Hey, didnt you notice that this so-called Mora-ah cult is very warm to us. They even prepared

a feast for us.

Yuki-oh enter the scene.

Yuki-oh, Senechi, and Rhian are strolling around Eastern Avenue (The next morning)

Yuki-oh:

So, how are you and Auntie Elena going along?

Senechi:

Its great. Although, I really miss my school and my friends.

Yuki-oh:

Thats nice. So do you and Rhian often go out together?

Rhian:

Actually, not much, sir. Ever since the news about the Morathe kidnapping stuff spread

throughout the city, my parents rarely allow me to go out with my friends.

Senechi:

Auntie Elena wanted to invite Rhian to dinner yesterday but it seems fate had just brought us

here.

Yuki-oh notices that theyve walked too far and theyre out of sight of the camp.

Yuki-oh:

We have to get out of here, quick!

I have no time to explain. Just come with me, fast (walks briskly out of the place).

Master Akiyama enters the scene and sees them running

Master Akiyama:

Good morning, people! Where are you up to?

Yuki-oh:

Uhmmwe were just jugging around.

Master Akiyama:

What a nice way to spend your morning! Havent you gone too far?.

Rhian:

We do know they way back, sir.

Master Akiyama:

Then show me the way back,

Yuki-oh:

I want to spend quality time with my son. Cant we just walk around the place for the

meantime?

Rhian:

Whispers to Senechi

See? Hes excited to see you. I told you so.

Scene 23:

Mora-ah s camp, Master Akiyama, Kisho and all the other Mora-ah members are having a chat

(late afternoon)

Senechi gets out his tent after a short nap.

Senechi:

Hey guys, have you seen my dad? Rhian needs to go home now.

Kisho:

Relax, son. He just went out breathe some fresh air.

Senechi continues to search for his dad and suddenly he sees Rhian tied to a chair.

Senechi:

Rhian?!

Rhian:

Sen?! (cries)

Senechi tries to untie her.

Senechi:

What have they done to you?

Master Akiyama enters the scene

Master Akiyama:

Sees Senechi untying Rhian out of the chair

Its too late, Senechi. Guys (calls the other Mora-ah members), you know what to do.

The Mora-ah members enters the scene and also ties Senechi to a chair

Scene 24:

One of the rooms of the Mora-ah camp, Yuki-oh and Akano, one of Mora-ah members, are in the

scene (same day, same time)

Akano:

Are you ready (hands him a knife)?

Yuki-oh:

Theres nothing I can do. Cant we just let go of the girl? She has nothing to do with this.

Akano:

Im afraid not. Master Akiyama thinks that if we let her go, she will be reporting us to the

authorities.

Yuki-oh:

Why do I have to kill her? Shes not my firstborn. Im not even related to her.

Akano:

I know how you feel, Yuki-oh. Im an ex-member myself. It was hard for me to kill my child,

but I had no choice. You know these guys, Yuki-oh. They would still want you to kill the girl.

The scene goes back to where Senechi and Rhian are tied to a chair

Senechi:

Im sorry I put you into this.

Rhian:

Dont be. It was I who put myself in trouble. You wanted to bring me home, remember?

Senechi:

I cant just see you like this, Rhian.

Rhian:

Sen,.

Sen, Im terrified. What are they doing to us? Where is your dad?

Yuki-oh enters the scene

Rhian:

Mr. Yuki-oh!

Senechi:

Papa! Whats happening?

Yuki-oh:

Son, you remember Abraham from the Bible?

Senechi:

Yeah?

Yuki-oh:

Remember when Abraham and Isaac went to the region of Moriah?

Senechi:

Papa, dont tell me

Yuki-oh:

Wait! Listen to me! Before we your mom and I got married, I belonged to this organization

this cult. One of my friends invited me to be a part of Mora-ah. I was convinced in my heart that

this was the way to eternal life. I was looking for a purpose in my life.

his (Yuki-ohs) neck and beheads himself instead..

Senechi:

Scene 26:

Still in Mora-ahs camp but in a different location, Master Akiyama and all the other members

are there.

Akano, who witnessed Yuki-ohs self-sacrifice, enters the scene

Akano:

Yuki-oh did not kill his son.

Master Akiyama:

What do you mean?

Akano:

He did not kill his son. He beheaded himself instead.

Master Akiyama:

What?!

Master Akiyama and all the other Mora-ah rush to where Rhian and Senechi are.

Master Akiyama:

So youre dad was brave enough to kill himself or was he not brave enough to kill you?

Kisho:

What are we going to do, Master?

Master Akiyama:

Someone must kill the two of them.

Kisho:

Akano, get the knife!

Akano:

Akano, with the knife fastened to his belt, walks around where Rhian and Senechi are sitting. It

seems that Akano is thinking heavily.

I miss my parents. (continues crying)

Akano:

I cant do it. I cant afford to kill another child.

Master Akiyama:

Hand me the knife (Akano gives the knife to Akiyama). Kisho! (Akiyama gives the knife to

him)

Kisho, holding the knife, gleefully approaches the two, and when he was about behead Senechi,

all of them hear a loud horn. Rhian, and Senechi suddenly disappear from the scene where they

were sitting.

Scene 27:

Rhian and Senechi suddenly see themselves rising above the clouds.

Senechi:

Where are we? Are we dead?

Rhian:

She had been telling the truth all along. I knew it!

Senechi:

Acts a little bit confused

What?

Mrs. Kei, their high school teacher, enters the scene. She catches them up in the clouds.

Mrs. Kei:

With the same tone of her voice tone as before.

...and at the end of the age, the Lord himself will come down from heaven and there will a

trumpet blown by Gods archangeland those who are dead will rise first. And those who are

still alive will be caught up in heaven to meet with the Lord.

Rhian:

Mrs. Kei! (she was surprised and the same time happy to see her)

He was with his wife, Kaiya, and standing behind his son.

Senechi

Senechi:

Papa? (Looks back and sees his dad. He immediately ran towards his dad and hugs him.

Senechi suddenly notices the woman beside his dad). Ma?

Kaiya:

Yes, son. Were safe now.

Te scene goes back to where Senechi left Rhian after he ran towards his parents.

Rhians Mom:

She was standing beside Rhians dad.

Sweetie, youre here!

Rhian:

Mama?! Papa!

The three of them ran toward each other and hug.

Rhians Dad:

Hey, you didnt listen to me. I told you to come back home before dinner time.

Rhian:

Butbut(tries to find an explanation)

Rhians Dad:

Calm down. The Lord told us everything.

The scene goes back to where Senechi and his parents are.

The scene goes back to where Master Akiyama and all the cult members are.

Kisho:
