Change out HVAC Filters

• Change the filters every 2 – 3 months.

• Always go with cheaper filter & replace them more often.

Clean Kitchen sink disposal

• Best solution seems to be vinegar ice cubes.

• Put some vinegar in a ice tray & allow it to freeze.

• Put ice cubes through the disposal , it freshens it.

Inspect your fire extinguisher

• Ensure fire extinguisher has easy access.

• It should not be blocked by garbage.

• Check that the gauge shows adequate pressure.

Test garage doors

• Test your garage doors monthly, to ensure that it reverses its action when hits an obstacle.

• If the door doesn’t go back, it might have a problem.

Use water and flush toilets in unused places

• You must run water in guest bathrooms or sinks which don’t have regular use.

• It helps in keeping the bathrooms clean.

Check water softener and add salt if required

• You might not need to add salt every month but, need to check it.

Test water heater’s pressure relief valves

• This will reduce mineral & corrosion buildup.

• It safeguards against leaks.

Vacuum refrigerator coils

• A refrigerator uses maximum power in a house. Therefore, it is important that you maintain it well.

• Coils become dirty & your fridge requires more juice.

• So, clean the coils.
