Welcome To The 143rd Annual ILLINOIS STATE SHOOT CLASSIFICATION CLASSIFICATION WILL OPEN SUNDAY, JUNE 9, 2019 AT 1:00 p.m. ALL SHOOTERS must have a complete list of their target scores and averages up to date. If not up to date, shooter may be classified at the discretion of the Classification Committee. Any shooter with less than a total of 500 16-yard targets for the current 2019 year shall shoot no less than Class B. Any shooter who has shot less than 300 doubles targets for the current year shall shoot no less than Class B. Any shooter who has shot less than 500 handicap targets for the current year shall shoot penalty yardage. PENALTY YARDAGE WILL BE AS FOLLOWS: YOUR CURRENT ATA ASSIGNED YARDAGE PLUS A MINIMUM OF TWO (2) YARDS TO A MAXIMUM OF 27 YARDS. Penalty yardage will be waived for Senior Veterans It shall be the shooter’s responsibility to shoot the assigned yardage. ALL TARGET requirements are based from September 1, 2018 and must be on your current card. It is the shooters responsibility to shoot the correct classification or yardage. Starting Wednesday. all winners and ties move up a class. GENERAL INFORMATIONANNUAL MEETING

The annual meeting o the Illinois State Trapshooters Association will be held Friday night, June 14, 2019 following shoot-offs. At this meeting, nominations for A.T.A. Delegate and Alternate Delegate will be accepted. The election will follow after nomination have been closed. To vote in this election, you must be in possession of a 2019 ATA card and a 2019 I.S.T.A. membership and meet the eligibility

requirements as defined by the ATA.STARTING TIME

PLEASE NOTE: Each day’s program will start promptly at the time specified. YOU MUST BE READY TO SHOOT WHEN YOUR SQUAD IS POSTED OR CALLED. Any shooter missing his/her squad will be resquaded at the end of the program after paying a resquading fee of $10.00. Check your squad

number and please be ready.A.T.A. RULES WILL GOVERN THIS TOURNAMENT

The management (directors) reserve the right to refuse any entry without explanation or cause the withdrawal of any shooter who may, in thesir opinion, be interfering with the harmony of the shoot. The management also reserves the right to cancel, change, or step up the program in case of inclement weather.A shooter may be disqualified for an event or for the whole tournaent at any time by shoot management, who is under the obvious influence of alcohol or drugs before starting or durning any event, sub-event, shoot-off or practice, or who consues any alcoholic beverage or drugs during partiipation in any event, sub-event or between events or sub-events held on the ame day including shoot-offs and practice.

TRAPS AND TARGETSAutomatic Pat Traps will be used on all Fields. White Flyer Orange Dome targets will be thrown.

Targets will be set each morning. Only authorized I.S.T.A. Personel may reset targets.Any unauthorized person observed resetting targets may be disqualified from that event.

SPECIAL INFORMATIONAnyone breaking 100 or 200 straight in Singles at the Illinois Sstate Shoot, providing they have not

won one previously, will be awarded a State Pin. State Pins will also be awarded for Handicap and Doubles on 100 straight scores.

All Doubles will be shot 25 pair on a trap in all doubles eents.50 targets will be shot on each field in all single and handicp sevent

PLEASE TAKE 50 SHELLS TO THE LINE.The shoot management reservess the right to shoot 10 per post or 100 per trap should the need arise.

Officers and Dirctors of the Illinois State Trapshooter Association will make all decisions as to the interpretation of rules. The Directors decisions are final.

ALL I.S.T.A. DIRECTORS ARE OFFICIA LINE REFEREES.Eye and ear protection must be worn at ll times by all shooters, workers and anyone on the firing line.

(No exceptions)ENTRIES.

Any shooter withdrawlling from any event may not re-enter that event! Options may be added prior to the start of the event. No entry fee refunded, including options and purses, unless shoot is canceled.

Entries for events other than the current days shooting will be accepted after 1:00 p.m. The entry desk and cashier windows willl close daily at 4:00 p.m.

Checks will be accepted for the amount of entry only. No refunds will be allowed. Credit cards will not be accepted.

WE WILL NOT CALL SQUAD NUMBERS ON THE PA SYSTEMNo shooter will be allowed to make up more than two (2) sub-events on the practice trap.

Shooters will NOT be allowed to make up sub-events on program traps.Note: If you are unable to join your squad before they have started their third sub-event, you must be

resquaded and pay a $10.00 resquadding fee. If you miss two sub-events, you must report immediately after completing last sub event, to the

I.S.T.A. classification office to make up any targets on the prctice trap.

TROPHIESNot shooter may win more than one trophy in the same event.

All trophies, ISTA and ATA will be awarded according to ATA rules and procedures.Lady 1, Lady 2, Junior Gold, Junior, Sub-Junior, Sub-Veteran and Sr. Veteran trophies

will be decided on all 200 targets of 200 target events.All trophies must be picked up before the conclusion of the 2019 state shoot.

“Trophy pick up times will be posted daily at the trophy pick up table and the classification building.”NO TROPHIES WILL BE SHIPPED!

The I.S.T.A. will not be responsible for any trophy left more than 30 days of the conclusion of the 2019 State Shoot. Added money in all events will be awarded with trophy.

SHOOT-OFFSOfficer of the State Associatin or their delegates will be in charge of all shoot-offs.

Any shooter not answering the call, will forfeit the shoot-off. Shoot-offs under the lights if necessary.All shoot-offs will be shot to conclusion.

Other trophies may be carried over at the discretion of the Directors.OPTIONS

All purses will be paid out as printed in event description.All results are final 1 houre after completion of event.

Payouts available the next day after 1:00 pm.CAMPERS & VENDORS

Electric and water hook-ups are limited to 160. The rates are $185.00 for the week or $30 per night. Vending lots are $185.00 per week

and runs from Friday,June 7th thru Monday June 17th, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.Reservations are to be made with Lauren Mueller, 618-292-7471,

with a deposit payable to Brittany Shooting Park, or mai to:11374 Prairie Dell Road, Bunker Hill, Illinois 62014.

Reservation will be held until May 1, 2019.Payment must be made by this date or site will be sold to campers on waiting list.

Check our website for information.ALL VEHICLES - GOLF CART - ATV RULESAll carts/ATV’s must stay behind the sidewalk.

No one may operate a cart/AT or any vehicle unless they possess a valid driver’s license.PLEASE OBSERVE 10 MPH SPEED LIMIT ON THE GROUND.

Operators must show proof of adequate insurance on privately owned carts or ATV’s and a valid drivers license.A copy of insurance is required to rent or use personl carts on the grounds of BSP.

Anyone wishing to rent a cart should contact Brittany Shooting Park before May 1, 2019.PETS

All pets must be on a leash at all times while on the grounds.Pets will not be allowed in any building at any time.

PRE-SQUADDING PROCEDURES1. Request forms will be accepted at any time through regular first-class mail. Presquadding requests wil not be ccepted byphone or by email.2. The non-refundable service charge ($2 per position) must be included with your request form. One should multiply the number of events by the number of positions requested and mutiply that total by $2 to determine the amount of service charge.
