“Pastor’s Weekend Message”

“O come, let us worship God and bow low

before the God who made us, for he is

the Lord our God” Psalm 95.

With less than a week before Lent, today’s reading focus

on Jesus’ ministry to all people. His early ministry is

shown through his authority with great compassion to

heal and bring all to a life of holiness. Our Parish and our

Diocese also strive to carry Jesus’ message of salvation

and outreach to all those in need. This year, the Diocese

of Stockton has the mission to focus on the importance of

the Gospel of the Family. As you well know, every year,

during the month of February, we are also encouraged to

help with the Bishop’s Ministry Appeal (BMA). Our

2015 parish goal this year is that of $32,000 to help sup-

port the different ministries Bishop Blaire helps and min-

isters to (such as Young and Young Adult, Adult For-

mation, Vocations Office, Respect Life, etc). Our BMA

appeal and commitment weekend begins February 14/15

and ends on February 21/22. All of us are asked to help

and pledge if possible. Please be generous. Know that our

Parish receives 100% above goal of all pledges and com-

mitments. Let us work “As One” with the Diocese. Thank

you for all your help and God bless you always.

“Mensaje Pastoral del Parroco”

“Alaben al Señor, que sana los corazones

quebrantados” Salmo 146.

Con menos de una semana antes de la cuaresma, las lec-

turas de hoy hacen enfoque en el ministerio de Jesús a su

gente. Muy temprano en su ministerio el muestra su gran

autoridad y también su gran compasión para sanar y traer

la santidad a todos. Como Jesús, nuestra parroquia y dió-

cesis también lucha en llevar el mensaje de salvación y

alcance de aquellos mas necesitados. Durante febrero,

también se nos invita a ayudar con la Petición Anual del

Señor Obispo (BMA). Este año, nuestra parroquia tiene la

meta de alcanzar 32 mil dólares para ayudar a las necesi-

dades y ministerios del Señor Obispo Blaire (por ejemplo

Ministerio Juvenil, Formación de Adultos, Oficina de

Vocaciones, Respeto a la Vida, etc.). Nuestra Petición

comienza el fin de semana de febrero 14/15 y termina el

21/22 de febrero. Favor de ser generosos con su compro-

miso. Como un solo pueblo oremos y ayudemos en lo que

podamos. Este conciente que nuestra parroquia recibirá

100% de lo sobrepasando de la meta parroquial (o sea

arriba del compromiso y recaudación). Muchas gracias y

que Dios los bendiga siempre.

N.E.T. MINISTRIES IS COMING! N.E.T. (which stands for National Evangelization

Team), will be at our Parish on Tuesday, February 24th

from 3:30-9:00pm. All of our youth who are between the

ages of 12-18 are invited! Youth Strong is sponsoring the

N.E.T. Team to come to our Parish and let our youth ex-

perience one of the BEST retreats they will ever have!

The N.E.T. TEAM has traveled to our Parish before and

our youth have said things like, “...the retreat was so

beautiful…......I’ve never felt so close to God before…...

…......I really liked it…....” All of our Confirmation

students are required to attend this retreat, however we

want to invite all Holy Family Youth as well!! There is no

reason to miss out on this awesome opportunity! This re-

treat is totally FREE, but we need you to register so that

we can have a head-count for dinner that evening! Don't

miss out on this beautiful spiritual experience! Today is

the day to make one of the best decisions for your teen’s

spiritual life! The registration forms are on our Youth

Board in the lobby and can be returned to the Parish
