    What Is The Hollywood Fringe Festival?The Hollywood Fringe Festival is an annual, open-access event cel-

    ebrating freedom of expression and collaboration in the performingarts community. Each June during the Hollywood Fringe, the arts in-ltrate the Hollywood neighborhood: Fully equipped theaters, parks,clubs, churches, restaurants and other unexpected places either hostor provide services for hundreds of productions by local, national,and international arts companies and independent performers. June2013 will mark the fourth year of the festival.

    The Hollywood Fringe was immediately embraced by the localarts community during its inaugural festival in 2010. A registered501(c)(3) non-prot, the organization quickly became known formeeting the needs of local artists by providing a networking oppor-

    tunity for dozens of theater companies otherwise made disparate bydistance. This success was reected by local media: The festival was called an artful feast by the LA Times,a roaring success by Backstage, and a triumph by LA Weekly during its rst year.

    Participation in the Hollywood Fringe is completely open and uncensored, which has only intensied the eventspopularity. First, this free-for-all approach underlines the festivals mission to be a platform for artists instead ofa self-serving curative body. By opening the gates to anyone with a vision, the festival is able to exhibit the mostdiverse and cutting-edge points-of-view the world has to offer. Additionally, by creating an environment whereartists must self-produce their work, the Fringe motivates its participants to cultivate a spirit of entrepreneurial-ism in the arts. Put another way, LA Weeklys Steven Leigh Morris has said that the Hollywood Fringe is thepurest program we have that embodies the open market of ideas and entertainments.

    It is now a regular occurrence each June for thousands of patrons and artists to converge in Hollywood to seewhat new works are about to break out. With over 25,000 tickets sold in 2012 (a 25% increase over 2011)and $200,000 going back to artists and venues, the Hollywood Fringe has not only become one of the largestuncensored arts festivals in the United States, but also an integral part of the Los Angeles arts scene.

    Its difcult to put into words what makes the Hollywood Fringe so special. Many say it is the festivals mission.Others point to the events young, passionate community. Perhaps a Los Angeles Times reporter stated it best:My Hollywood Fringe Festival experience allowed me to become immersed in a community of talented andkind individuals, sharing in a love for the arts as well as life that went well beyond the stage.

    By helping small companies and solo performers to produce and promote their shows, and by providing anetwork that puts artists in touch with one another, the Fringe seeks to advance the goals of its website mission

    Fringe Central Station has always served as the main hub for Fringe social activity and in 2012 over 11,000patrons joined us at Bryans Bar, and thats only those who ordered drinks. As a sponsor on any level, you willenjoy high-prole brand placement and major exposure of your company to thousands of arts lovers from acrossLos Angeles and around the world.     The best way to gain visibility for your brand at Bryans Bar is to sponsor one or more nights of our festivities.Every night at Fringe Central Station is a distinct affair and we will work with you to pair your brand with theevening you sponsor.     Student Fringe brings middle and high school students to the Holly-wood Fringe through exciting day-long events including performances,workshops and Q&A sessions conducted by Fringe artists.     Fringe Family - $1,500

    Sunday afternoons during the festival, Fringe Central Station opensits doors to the children of Los Angeles. A plethora of family-friendly

    performances from the festival are given the spotlight alongside rovingmagicians, balloon craftsman and other family-friendly fun. Your brandwill be prominently displayed at the events and your materials distrib-uted in gift bags for our young attendees and their parents.

    Fringe shuttle - $2,500

    Your sponsorhip furnishes the Fringe community with free transpor-tation to and from major Fringe venues. Your branded sign will bedisplayed on the side of the Fringe shuttle and your materials/brandingwill adorn the interior.

    Fringe musiC - $1,000

    Your sponsorship will place your banner immediately beneath a 40long Hollywood Fringe banner over the main entrance to Fringe Cen-tral Station for the duration of the festival. Over 25,000 patrons tra-verse the threshold during the festival and our entrance typically facesSanta Monica Boulevard in the heart of Hollywood.

    * Fringe mainstage - $5,000

    Fringe Mainstage is a agship performance space for over 30 festival productions and close to 100 perfor-mances, featuring state-of-the-art audiovisual facilities. The Fringe strives to keep rents at the Mainstage as lowas possible to lower the barriers for artists and drive prices down throughout the festival. Sponsoring the Main-stage drives these prices down even further, fostering good-will for your brand. Additionally, your logo will be

    projected onto the stage during all intermissions at the space, reaching over 6,000 audience members over thecourse of the festival.

    * Fringe Central BOx OFFiCe - $2,500

    You sponsor the central box ofce of the festival, where patrons canpurchase tickets for every Fringe show and have all of their questionsanswered. Your logo will be prominently placed above the servicecounter and your materials will be available for patrons to peruse, aprivilege normally reserved exclusively for the Fringe Printed Guide.

    * Bryans Bar - $2,500

    You sponsor the much-loved Fringe bar, which sees over 25,000 pa-

    trons over the course of the festival. LA Weekly called Bryans Bar the#2 theatrical event of 2011. Your logo will be placed above the menufor the bar and will be painted on the front of the bars surround.

    * Fringe CaBaret stage - $2,500

    You sponsor the stage where artists of all disciplines entertain themasses at Fringe Central Station nightly. Located adjacent to the bar,the Cabaret Stage is a focal point of the space and is the home of theFringe Awards and all Opening/Closing night performances. Your logois placed above the stage throughout the festival for our over 25,000patrons.

    * Fringe COnCierge - $1,500

    Located at the entrance to Fringe Central Station, Fringe Concierge isthe information desk for the festival where patrons can have all of theirquestions answered and purchase Fringe merchandise.     You sponsor the outdoor congregation area for Fringe Central Station. Packed nightly with artists and audi-ence, the patio is a pleasant environment for conversation and features a nightly food truck. Your banner will beprominently placed and illuminated in the patio for the duration of the festival.

    * Fringe upstage - $1,000

    You sponsor the second stage at Fringe Central Station. Home to numerous performances and workshopsthroughout the festival, your banner will be displayed prominently during all performances and a display nearthe stage will be available for distribution of your materials.

    Fringe exhiBit - $1,000

    Your sponsorship allows your business to have a booth space with lighting in Fringe Central Station during ourprimetime hours (7PM 2 AM) on a single day.
