Holiday Workshops
Session I. Holiday Treats. This class is geared toward children ages 6-11 who must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. Come learn how to make fun, simple treats that can be used at parties, given as gifts or enjoyed throughout the holiday season. We will make, bake & decorate chewy sugar cookies, decorate pretzel wands & make, bake & decorate reindeer cupcakes. Each adult/child pair will take home 1 dozen per type of treat.

Date: Saturday, 12/17/16
Time: 2:00-5:00 pm
Price: $50 per adult/child pair
Session II. Do you love to bake? This class is for children ages 12-17 with or without an adult partner. Come learn how to make and decorate homemade cookies and holiday bark. We will bake & decorate cutout sugar cookies, chocolate blossom cookies and festive bark. Each person OR pair will take home 1 dozen per type of confection.

Time: 2:00-5:00 pm
Price: $40 per person or
$50 per adult/child pair
Session I. More than just cookies! Do you love sweets? Come make festive confections and bring home gifts to give and share. We will make peanut butter balls (Buckeyes), peppermint bark, old fashion butter crunch and chocolate holiday truffles. Each participant will take home 1 dozen per type of confection.

Time: 5:00-8:00 pm
Price: $40 per person
Session II. Do you love cookies? Come bake in our kitchen and bring home the gift of homemade sweets! We will bake thumbprint cookies, snowball cookies, chewy molasses spice cookies and maple pecan pinwheel cookies. Each participant will take home 1 dozen of each type of cookie.

Date: Saturday, 12/17/16
Time: 9:00 am-12:00 noon
Price: $40 per person
Session III. NEW THIS YEAR. Learn the art of decorating using the flooding technique & royal icing. Join us this holiday season and take your decorating to a new level. Each participant will make sugar cookie dough to bring home and then learn to decorate pre-made sugar cookies using royal icing. Participants will take home 2 dozen decorated cookies and a batch of dough for the holidays!

Time: 5:00-8:00 pm

Class size: Class size is limited to a total of twelve (12) participants. Eight (8) students
are needed to run a class. Participants will be grouped into teams of two.
Age: See session descriptions for age restrictions. Please note. The
kitchen counters are 3’ high so small children must be able to clear the
counter by 6”-8” to safely participate (step stools are not allowed).
Payment: Payment in full is required at time of registration and is on a first come, first
serve basis. Checks should be payable to UNH. Sorry, we cannot
accept credit cards.
Refund Policy: Due to the timing and popularity of these classes, refunds will not be given if
you are unable to attend. A full refund will be given if class is canceled due to
low enrollment.
Parking: Parking is available behind Cole Hall.
Hot chocolate, coffee & apple cider provided!
