HMONG MISSION SOCIETY LCMS* September 1, 2000 – HMS file the form 1023 for 501(c) (3) located in Sheboygan, WI October 10, 2001 – Wisconsin grant certificate off

exempt status (CES) August 2, 2002 IRS granted Exempt Status of 501(c) (3) August 29, 2002 Attorney Walter F. Tesch file an

amended certificate with the State of Wisconsin and pay $17.00 fee at the register of Deeds to amend for tax exempt status in WI.

December 1, 2011 – address change to Rev. Yia Vang resident as the President

July 23, 2012 - address change to St. Michael’s Lutheran Church - Rev. Lang Yang as the President serving at St. Michael’s.

Because there was never an Article of Incorporation file, it is necessary that we file an Article of Incorporation immediately to be a recognize entity so that it can be check and verify for all legitimate Incorporation to do business in the United States and other part of the world. As President I ask the Secretary, Phoua H. Yang and Treasurer, May T. Cha and myself sign the Article of Incorporation and file in the State of Michigan.

July 9, 2014 – File Article of Incorporation, sales tax, and exempt status in Michigan.

ReasonIn order for the LCMS Hmong Young Adult

Ministry to carry out Christ’s command for making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20) The LCMS Hmong Young Adult Ministry is from youth to young adult. God’s word said in Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” and also in Isaiah 40:30-31 “Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

The LCMS Hmong Young Adult Ministry are on fire for Christ. Through our Christian journey, we will set an example in speech, in conduct, in love, and in faith that all we do may bring honor and glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Mission

To be a light to the world (taken from John 8:12)   Vision

Training the youth and young adult in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Taken from Proverbs 22:6)

Purpose

Be a committee under the Hmong Mission Society LCMS. To have activities and workshops for the young adults during

the annual conference of the LCMS Hmong Ministry. Plan retreat and special events for learning to be active in

service and leading others to Jesus Christ. To encourage all LCMS Hmong Young Adult to use their gift,

talents and treasurer to share the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world.

Future of Hmong Mission Society

* Seeking fund to support LCMS Hmong Ministry North America and Asia* Translating material for Hmong Ministry to use for teaching “Bible Class, Confirmation etc.”* Partnership with Luther Institute of Southeast Asia (LISA) and  LCMS World Mission of Training Hmong Pastoral Candidate (Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam)* District (Alaska) Approved for Deacon Training program in the Hmong language. Material will start translate in the fall. * Becoming a Recognize Service Organization (RSO) of the LCMS
