B ehind the scenes he wasn’t weak. Neither was he sinful,wretched and poor. But an honest, awesome and noble man
– a true definition of goodliness. For the love he had for us,he became a sinner, for his compassion, he was accused.
He became everything we supposed to be. That we might be all He is.He placed everything on the line for us. One of the great counsellors ofOld, Isaiah enclosed these irreplaceable gains in thesewords“ ...Wounded for our misbehaviours, bruised for our vices, chas-
tised to secure our peace, striped for our wellbeing.” [Isaiah 55:5 Commentary KJV]
It was an outrageous sacrifice, a man counted nothing for his friend. John the be-loved could barely describe the kind of Love, this man had for his friends. For it’s inde-scribable! In his epistle, while writing to the brethren he captured it in few words, “ Greater
love hath no man than this; that a man lay down his life for his friends.” [John 15:13KJV]
His Pains, our Gains. He left nothing undone infulfilment of the love he had for us. These gains are treas-ures; that He languished to part with. But it was worthy.
Not everyone has the impetus to stand the test of treasurehunt. These gains are exclusive reserve of those who canvisualise the agony behind his tears. Knowing Him is all we need. By knowing him, wediscover that we have a right , an unlimited franchise to get all we need and all we want to
be in life. It is altogether a journey to an incredibly exciting and fulfilling end that begins
with a single thought of coming to terms with his birth , death , and resurrection , and second coming .
We might have spent crucial portions of our life in search of answer we can’t find.But now is the Hour. This is the place. Search no further. Success begins with a start. Knowthis: He paid it all. He is the perfect exchange for a better life. Know Him. Know all. GetHim. Win all! No man works into his destiny and looks back. In Jesus everything is AS-
