Global Recruiting Change Impact Summary

Global adoption of Success Factors is required in alignment with

Business Transformation Efforts.

In addition, there are two key process changes:

Standard approval path for requisitions within the system: From: Various approval paths based on area, business, and leadership preference

To: One standard global approval path within Success Factors : Requisitions will go through

two approvers (next level manager and HRM). The HRM will have the ability to add up to two

additional approvers based on current business requirements as defined by Area HR

leadership.

Direct GWN Hires (Vanilla): From: Taleo being offered as an option for hiring 3M employees. Hires being entered directly

in GWN by local HR.

To: Success Factors being provided as the only way to hire a 3M employee. Any exception

to this will require approval through governance process.

accessing to SuccessFactors through e-Supervisor.

Manager + HRM + Additional Approvers)

Note that the Additional 2 approver for Non Production Requisition and Production

Requisition is REQUIRED for ALL positions and ALL COUNTRIES.

Some Approval Path Examples:

* Scenario 1: Suppose that you are hiring IBG Sales Representative in your organization.

•IBG Sales Supervisor (Next Level Manager) - will be automatically populated in the system

•Country HR Manager - will be automatically populated in the system

•Country Managing Director - the one who is opening the requisition should add additionally

•Area VP - the one who is opening the requisition should add additionally

* Scenario 2: Suppose that you are hiring a CBG CBL in your organization.

•Country MD (Next Level Manager) - will be automatically populated in the system

•Country HR Manager- will be automatically populated in the system

•Area VP - the one who is opening the requisition should add additionally

* Scenario 3: Suppose that you are recruiting a Process Engineer in your manufacturing

organization.

•Module Supervisor (Next Level Manager) - will be automatically populated in the system

•Country HR Manager - will be automatically populated in the system

•MD=Mario Mascolo in his role of VP of EMEA SC - the one who is opening the requisition

should add additionally

•Area VP = Patrick Deconinck in his role of Senior VP of the EMEA SC - the one who is opening

the requisition should add additionally

The last step of Approval Path is assign to TA team - the

Recruiter Final Review and Signature.

TA representative, will have the opportunity and the

responsibility to validate all the content of the requisition.

TA will OPEN the position in Success Factor and publish

the requisition in the Career Page.

Requisitions will go through two approvers (Next Level

Manager and HRM). The HRM will have the ability to add

business requirements as defined by Area HR leadership.

Note: When a requisition is routed to the NLM for

approval, the NLM will receive an email providing a link to

the main menu for SAP Recruiting.

Just as the Recruiter, the Hiring Manager will

log in to their user page, and select ‘Recruiting’

from the Home main menu.

From the Requisition list filter menu, the Hiring

Manager will select Open Job Requisitions to

view requisitions currently open.

To access the candidate list for a Requisition, the

Hiring Manager will click on the number in the

Candidates column.

The Talent Pipeline will display for the Hiring

Manager. However, all statuses before Hiring

Manager Review will not be viewable.

Also, the Hiring Manager may view candidates, but

may not take actions on candidates. The Action

menu is not available to the HM.

The Hiring Manager may access the candidate

resume by clicking the Resume link in the

candidate profile.

The Hiring Manager may indicate that he or she has

reviewed the candidate by changing the sub status to

Reviewed, and clicking the Save button.

Hiring Manager should contact the Recruiter

2.4. Preview and Approve Offers (Next Level Manager)

Use this tip sheet to learn how to review and approve a

candidate offer in SAP Recruiting.

The Hiring Manager (HM) will receive an e-mail when a

candidate offer is routed for approval. The standard approval

path for the candidate offer is: 1) Hiring Manager, 2) Next

Level Manager (NLM), and 3) HRM. The HRM has the option

to require up to two (2) additional approvals as determined by

HR leadership.
