We’re based in the Somerset country side, in an old piggery where it’s not unusual to see

a herd of cows or a flock of chickens charge by the window or be followed through the

office by a pack of dirty spaniels and a cat who thinks she is a dog!

We sell three types of product – we design and source our own collections, we work with

other UK businesses who have products we think you will enjoy, like James Veale and

Alex Monroe. Then sometimes on our travels, we see artisan jewellery makers – so we

see it, like and buy it – and bring it to you. Those of you who know Hiho will know that we

often only have a limited number of an item – so they are exclusive to us. However,

people often don’t realise that we also design our own jewellery and do our own repairs!

We like keeping it real – we’re quite a down-to-earth bunch. So when you phone us, you

speak to our Countess of Contentment (we’ve all got funny titles), when you visit us, you

see one of our Duchesses in the shops or the King of the Road at Shows – and when you

shop online, we’ve personally sat down ourselves and gone through the website and tried

to make the experience as easy as possible.

For 2014, we wanted to do something for the local air Ambulance Service who have been there for our families (and we know many of you) at difficult times, most of them horse related and we are particularly thinking of when our Queen of the Road departed her horse and landed in a river!

So why honeycomb jewellery you might be asking, well obviously there is the connection with flying which seemed appropriate for an Air Ambu-lance, but our Queen Bee wanted to do something to commemorate a very dear family member who unfortunately passed away earlier this year, with the Devon Air Ambulance attending the scene and providing great comfort to his family. He was a lifelong beekeeper and so the honeycomb theme for the charity jewellery just seemed right. We hope you like it.
