1. Hanya CALON GAGAL mendapat tawaran IPTA sahaja yang boleh mengemukakan rayuan melalui Aplikasi e-Rayuan yang diselaraskan oleh BPKP JPT dalam tempoh 10 hari selepas keputusan permohonan kemasukan ke IPTA diumumkan.

2. Calon gagal mendapat tawaran ke IPTA tetapi berjaya ke Matrikulasi KPM dan yang telah MENDAFTAR dengan MATRIKULASI KPM, boleh mengemukakan permohonan rayuan tetapi semasa proses back-end calon yang telah berdaftar dengan BMKPM diselaraskan dan TIDAK AKAN DIPERTIMBANGKAN dalam proses rayuan kemasukan ke IPTA.

Perhatian:

1. Hanya calon yang berstatus atlet negara atau berada di dalam Program Majlis Sukan Negara/Negeri sahaja yang layak memohon kursus ini.

2. Umur tidak melebihi 20 tahun pada tarikh kemasukan.

3. Tarikh tutup permohonan adalah pada 30 April 2010. Sebarang permohonan yang diterima

selepas tarikh tersebut tidak akan dilayan.

4. Anda boleh mengemaskini maklumat peribadi anda TANPA HAD sebelum tarikh tutup permohonan. Namun begitu, anda perlu mengepos borang dan sijil SEKALI SAHAJA walaupun

Permohonan kemasukan ke program pengajian Politeknik KPT Sesi Jun 2010 hendaklah dibuat melalui kaedah dalam talian (ON-LINE) dengan melayari laman web;

http://www.politeknik.edu.my Untuk mengakses e-B orang pemohon mesti menggunakan kombinasi nombor kad pengenalan dan nombor PIN. Pemohon diminta membeli nombor PIN di kaunter atau Mesin ATM Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) dengan harga RM6.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: Enam sahaja)

Pemohon perlu mengemukakan Kad Pengenalan atau MyKad semasa membeli nombor PIN di kaunter BSN. Jika pemohon mewakilkan seseorang untuk membeli nombor PIN, salinan Kad Pengenalan atau MyKad pemohon mesti dikemukakan oleh wakil tersebut kepada pihak BSN. Maklumkan dengan jelas kepada pihak BSN bahawa nombor PIN yang hendak dibeli adalah untuk permohonan kemasukan ke Politeknik KPT. Pastikan slip pembayaran BSN dicetak nombor Kad Pengenalan atau MyKad pemohon dengan betul serta terdapat nombor PIN enam (6) digit bermula dengan "40" dan diikuti empat angka yang lain sebelum meninggalkan kaunter BSN. Contoh No PIN : 401051 Nombor PIN ini hanya boleh digunakan bagi kemasukan Sesi Jun 2010 dan November 2010 sahaja. Pemohon perlu membeli semula nombor PIN sekiranya lupa.

KOLEJ KOMUNITI

Soalan-Soalan Lazim Mengenai Kolej Komuniti:- S1: Apakah perbezaan kursus yang ditawarkan di Kolej Komuniti dengan Politeknik? J1: Kursus di Kolej Komuniti menekankan aktiviti hands on atau praktikal iaitu nisbah teori dengan amali adalah 25% : 75% S2: Apakah kursus yang ditawarkan di Kolej Komuniti? J2: Kolej Komuniti menawarkan kursus formal dan kursus pendek. Terdapat 22 kursus formal yang ditawarkan manakala kursus pendek bergantung kepada permintaan dan keperluan komuniti. S3: Berapakah tempoh pengajian bagi kursus sijil yang ditawarkan di Kolej Komuniti? J3: Tempoh pengajian minimum bagi kursus Sijil ialah selama 2 tahun (4 semester) dan tempoh maksimum ialah selama 5 tahun (10 semester). Setiap pelajar diwajibkan menjalani dan lulus Latihan Industri selama 6 bulan pada semester ketiga. S4: Apakah syarat kemasukan bagi kursus Sijil yang ditawarkan di Kolej Komuniti? J4: Syarat minimum untuk memohon ke kursus formal di Kolej Komuniti adalah warganegara Malaysia yang lulus SPM, manakala kursus pendek adalah terbuka kepada semua lapisan masyarakat yang berminat. S5: Bagaimanakah cara untuk memohon belajar di Kolej Komuniti? J5: Bagi kursus formal, calon boleh memohon dengan menggunakan borang yang boleh dibeli di mana-mana Kolej Komuniti atau membeli no pin dari BSN dan membuat permohonan secara online di http://www.bpkk.edu.my. Iklan mengenai permohonan akan dikeluarkan pada bulan Februari/Mac dan September/Oktober setiap tahun. Bagi kursus pendek pula mereka yang berminat boleh melihat iklan atau brosur mengenai kursus yang ditawarkan di kolej berkenaan. S6: Adakah Kolej Komuniti menyediakan kemudahan penginapan? J6: Kolej Komuniti tidak menyediakan asrama atau tempat penginapan. S7: Apakah kemudahan-kemudahan yang disediakan di Kolej Komuniti? J7: Kolej Komuniti menyediakan kemudahan-kemudahan seperti bilik kuliah, makmal komputer, makmal sains, perpustakaan, percetakan, kemudahan sukan dan kemudahan pengangkutan. S8: Berapakah bayaran yang dikenakan? J8: Bayaran yang dikenakan bagi Kursus Sepenuh Masa (peringkat sijil) ialah yuran pengajian adalah sebanyak RM200.00 (setiap semester) dan yuran pelbagai sebanyak RM210.00 dibayar semasa pendaftaran semester pertama sahaja. Bayaran yang dikenakan bagi Kursus Pendek pula adalah minimum RM5.00 dan maksimum adalah RM20.00. S9: Adakah bantuan kewangan yang disediakan? SOCSO LOANS FOR NEEDY STUDENTS ----------------------------------------------------------- SOCSO is offering educational loans, amounting to as much as RM100,000, to children of members who are in receipt of monthly invalidity pensions. Applicants can also be children of contributors who died while in employment because of injuries, or died before reaching their 55th year. The applicants must be below 21 years of age and pursuing degree, diploma or certificate courses recognised by the Education Ministry. The borrower is required to repay the loan via monthly instalments once the person has completed the study programme. Human Resources Minister Datuk Dr S. Subramaniam said that the loan will be converted to a scholarship if the student gets first class honours in the degree programme. "This loan is only given to deserving students who have done well in their examinations and are admitted to institutes of higher learning," he said, after presenting loan approvals of RM100,000 each for two students currently pursuing their studies in medicine at the Asian Institute of Medicine Science and Technology in Kedah. Since1997, SOCSO has given out as much as RM94mil in loans to dependents of SOCSO contributors who qualifed for the study loan. For SOCSO members who are kidney patients, Dr Subramaniam said that SOCSO would pay a maximum of RM110 for each session of dialysis.

Intel PDC designs Intel® Core™2 processors, Intel® Atom™ processors, and Advanced IA Platform Chipsets. Our Design Engineers architect and create innovative IP and features for the next platform system-on-a-chip solutions on 45nm (nanometer) and 32nm process technology. Intel PDC grants R&D scholarships every year to outstanding students from local universities throughout the country. Eligibility To be eligible for the Intel Penang Design Center Scholarship, an applicant must:

Be a Malaysian citizen

Be a full-time student in a local university studying in the fields of Electrical and Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering

Not hold any other scholarship from other companies, organizations, or Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA)**

Have one or more of the following: o SPM with A1 for mathematics and all science subjects

o STPM with grade A for a minimum of three subjects

o Matriculation with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 and above

o For university undergraduates, a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 is required

Applicants may apply for scholarships to a maximum of two institutions, but are entitled to only one scholarship. g. Scholarship recipients are also subjected to other terms and conditions as may be decided by the participating institutions. h. On behalf of the Toshiba International Foundation, the EAJS Council selects two to three

candidates for a fellowship to undertake research in Japan. The next application deadline is 30 April 2010.

Applications are invited for three Toshiba International Foundation scholarships for a three-month stay in Japan to be completed by the end of March 2011. There are three scholarships, generously funded by the Toshiba International Foundation, and each is worth 7000,- Euro. Applicants must be graduate students or their equivalent who have completed four or more years of full-time study, and they must be specialising in some branch of Japanese studies at an institution in Europe. Applications should consist of a CV, a brief statement (not more than 300 words) of the project for which they wish to pursue their research in Japan, and a letter of support from the student’s supervisor or adviser, who should submit the application on the student’s behalf. Applications should be sent by e-mail to the following address: office at eajs.eu Since the purpose of the scholarship is to encourage the academic study of Japan by those who have not already had a long-term experience in Japan, applications by Japanese High School graduates will not be considered. The closing date for applications is 30 April 2010, and the decision will be announced by mid-June. HIGHER EDUCATION INITIATIVES (since April 2005)

We are a voluntary group committed to excellence in higher education (academic &

skill training) and holistic youth development, working together sharing gifts and

encouraging others to do so, encouraging students to participate in various

ministries, providing opportunity for wholistic growth as well as opportunities to

share and reflect upon that growth.

We also provide assistance, support, and encouragement to these students in a

variety of ways. Specifically, assist students by providing guidance in contemplative

inquiry, opportunities for dialogue, and supporting a host of opportunities which

enable students to put their most cherished beliefs into daily practice.
