Hello Everyone: Let me begin by extending my thanks and gratitude for taking on the role of the school representative this year. The school rep is a very important part of how our Association functions and provides the direct link to every teacher in the province. This does involve another commitment on your part and for that I want to say thank you for adding to your already full work day. My name is Dean Ingram and I have decided to offer myself as a candidate for the Presidency of our Association. I am hopeful that after assessing my experiences and vision for our Association you can see fit to support me in my bid to become NLTA president on December 6th. My involvement with the NLTA has spanned my entire 23 year career and for the past 4 years I have been fortunate enough to sit as Vice President of our Association. During this time I have gotten to meet many of you and I am hopeful that over the coming months I will get to meet many more. I have always held that in order to be speaking for teachers you have to be speaking to those same teachers. The next few months are going to provide a number of challenges to our membership. All indications are that the next round of bargaining is going to be a tough one. I have been at that table on 2 separate occasions. I particularly proud of what we were able to accomplish during the last round. The Team that I led was able to secure, at long last, Family leave for all of our members. This was achieved due in no small part to the united front that the Teachers of the province presented. I firmly believe that when we as teachers speak as a common voice we can achieve great things. We can drive home the message that if Government is interested in addressing what they may identify as “wrong” in Education they would be well served by supporting what is right. What is right in Education is the work and commitment of our Members. To improve Learning Conditions you need to begin with improving Teaching Conditions. "Since 2008 I have been involved with the NLTA as a Branch President and have seen Dean Ingram very 

impressively grow from an Executive Member and recently to the position as our Vice President!  Dean's 

knowledge of our past and present collective bargaining agreements is second to none!  The NLTA has a history of 

grooming our members from Branch Executive positions to assume positions within Joint Council and Provincial 

Executive while en route to Provincial President! 

Dean has the experience to take on the position of NLTA President!  He is always available to hear your concerns 

and possible solutions to any issue which might arise!  His knowledge of Roberts Rules of Order is impeccable and 

he has a very professional rapport with the staff at 3 Kenmount Road!  I feel the NLTA will be in great hands with 

Dean at the helm and therefore am pleased to endorse him for the position of NLTA President!

I’m writing this letter to recommend Dean Ingram for the position of NLTA President. For the past six years I’ve 

come to know Dean while serving as Green Bay Branch President. In all the time I’ve known Dean, he has proven 

himself to be very dedicated, loyal and passionate voice for the teachers of the province.  

Dean shares an excellent personal and professional rapport with all of his colleagues which are qualities that are 

rare, however, necessary for the prestigious position. Dean has demonstrated strong leadership abilities within the 

NLTA during his entire career. His proven leadership abilities are needed as the Association is about to embark on 

very tough contract negotiations with the current Liberal government. An endorsement for Dean is a decision that

I have known Dean Ingram for about 10 years.  Over this time, we have become friends and have shared many 

conversations pertaining to teaching and teachers' lives. I have seen his passion as he discusses important issues 

that affect our classrooms.  I have watched him in action and he is quite knowledgeable about our Collective 

Agreement.  He is well respected by our Provincial Executive, our Branch Presidents and our Association in 

general.  Dean works hard and I believe he will dedicate himself to carrying the NLTA forward and making advances 

that our teachers deserve, in his role as President.

I have known Dean Ingram for 20 years and I have had the privilege of serving with him in the role of Branch 

President, Group Insurance trustee and on NLTA Provincial Executive. During that time, I have seen firsthand 

Dean’s commitment to improving the professional and personal lives of teachers in this province. I have worked 

closely with Dean and every decision he makes is teacher centered because he knows that the working conditions 

of teachers are the learning conditions of our students. 

We are at critical time in the Association’s history. We will soon be entering negations with a government which 

appears to be looking to strip our contract. Having been a member and chair of the negotiating team, Dean knows 

not only the collective agreement but also the process of collective bargaining.  It is my belief that we need a

person with that deep knowledge to lead the Association over the next two years. And I believe that person is 

Dean Ingram. 

Dean also has an incredible understanding of both the governance and administrative sides of NLTA. This 

understanding can only come from years of service at all levels within the Association. Dean has gained such 

knowledge because of the service he has given to the teachers of this province for the last 20 years.  

Over the past 4 years, I have seen him take on major leadership roles as our vice president. In that role he not only 

chaired the negotiating team in a successful round of collective bargaining, he has stepped up and has represented 

this Association on behalf of the president whenever he was called upon to do so. 

In his role as vice president, Dean has worked tirelessly. I believe there is no better way to prepare to be president 

than to be vice president. The knowledge and experience he has gained in the vice president’s role will serve the 

teachers of this province well and will allow for a smooth transition from one president to another. 

Dean has a great understanding of and respect for the history of NLTA. He recognizes that we were built upon two 

pillars: teacher welfare and professional development. He has been an active member of Special Interest Councils, 

has supported the efforts to revitalize and grow our SIC structure and he understands the valuable role they play 

within our Association. 

I have not seen a person more prepared to become president of our great Association. His passion, experience, 

knowledge, dedication to teachers and his belief that together we will make a difference are some of the reasons 

why I am supporting him as he seeks the office of President of the Newfoundland and Labrador Teacher’s 

Association. 

I am truly convinced that Dean is the best choice we have to lead us over the next two years. I have had the honor 

of working with him and I am looking forward to the next two years of his leadership.

Dean Ingram has been actively involved with NLTA for several years in various capacities. I have known Dean for 

ten years. I had the opportunity to work with Dean when we both were a member of the negotiating team for 

NLTA. I have had the privilege to attend BGM, joint council meetings, and branch meetings, just to name a few, 

with Dean. Dean has always been very professional and articulate at these various events. He has a wealth of

knowledge when it comes to NLTA and the teaching profession. He always has the best interests of the students 

and teachers in mind when negotiating. 

Dean is a strong and committed individual. He has had to deal with health concerns in the past but that did not 

slow him down. He persevered and overcame any obstacles that got in his way. Dean remained active with NLTA 

during this ordeal and continues to remain active today. Dean is very much a family man as well. Despite his busy 

schedule, Dean ensures that he has quality family time which he enjoys immensely. He is very dedicated to his 

family, the teaching profession, and to NLTA.

Branch President, Provincial Executive member and on the Table Officers Committee of our Association during my 

time as President of the NLTA. He has offered himself as a candidate for President of our Association and there is 

no better, more qualified person to lead teachers through the coming years, than this gentleman; a man of 

unquestionable integrity, commitment and dedication to teachers and our Association. Dean will bring a wealth of 

knowledge relative to teachers' rights and our benefits structure to the role of NLTA President. As our current Vice‐

President, Dean was Chairperson of the Provincial Negotiating Team which secured the non‐discretionary, 

guaranteed Family Leave Provision for all teachers, as well as the new annual PD day for teachers where "priority 

will be given" to Professional Development needs identified by teachers at each school. These were huge gains for 

teachers that the Association had been seeking for decades. Under Dean's Chairpersonship and leadership, these 

gains were finally realized in our most recent Collective Agreement. 

Dean's unwavering commitment to the profession, his colleagues throughout the province and most importantly 

to teachers' rights and welfare, is indisputable. His sincerity and ability as well as his sense of ethics, fairness and 

justice is second to none. Teachers can place their trust in this man because that trust is precious to him, as is his 

respect for his fellow teachers which is absolutely genuine and sincere. Dean is absolutely the right person at this

I would like to endorse Dean Ingram as candidate for President of the NLTA.  I have known Dean professionally for 

about ten years and I am very confident that his experience, knowledge and dedication deem him to be an 

excellent nominee for this position.   

Dean has been teaching for 23 years and is in his 14th year on the NLTA’s Provincial Executive, presently serving his 

2nd term as Vice‐President.  He is observably passionate about matters affecting teachers and students in our 

province and across the country.  Dean is always interested and keen to listen to teachers concerns and he is 

committed to doing everything he can to represent our best interests.  He consistently takes an active approach to 

staying informed about topics of importance and in turn, uses this knowledge to assist teachers and help evoke 

positive change.   

Through his long‐standing involvement with the NLTA, Dean has made many significant contributions to teachers 

in Newfoundland and Labrador. I believe that in the role of President, he will continue to make a difference.

I first came in contact with Dean during the 2005‐2006 school year in my teaching responsibilities with the Centre 

for Distance Learning and Innovation.  Mr. Ingram was the principal of Swift Current Academy where I had 

students taking online secondary French.  At that time, Dean demonstrated very strong communication and 

leadership skills in that position.  Whenever I had a challenge with students from that school, Dean was always 

available to discuss, analyse and problem solve in a timely manner.  We spoke several times on the phone and 

even brought students into the discussion to clarify goals and expectations. 

 

Shortly thereafter, I have had the pleasure of working alongside Mr. Ingram as a well respected e‐teaching 

colleague.  We have participated in numerous PD sessions within the virtual teaching.  I have always found Dean to 

be cooperative, supportive, and understanding on both a professional and personal level.  I believe that Dean 

never loses site of the bigger picture‐ keeping our provinces’ students and the welfare of teachers at the forefront. 

 

These are just a few examples of why I feel that Dean Ingram would be an excellent candidate for the role of NLTA

I have known Mr. Dean Ingram since June of 2012 when we worked together as markers on the provincial public 

exam marking board. Since that time we have worked on several marking boards and committees, and as a result, I 

feel like I can speak to Dean’s professional and personal attributes. I would like to offer a personal endorsement 

for his seeking of NLTA president.  

Since I have known Dean he has continuously demonstrated knowledge and skills relating to his profession. He 

routinely takes part in professional development initiatives and always is extremely positive towards students, 

teachers and learning. I appreciate his commitment to improving his teaching practices. He is a role model for all 

teachers. 

Besides being a wonderful teacher, Dean excels as a leader in education and possesses many positive 

characteristics. He is a keen listener and therefore gives great consideration to what teachers say about daily 

classroom practices and concerns. He is very competent at proposing plausible solutions to issues and concerns, 

and is always willing to provide constructive advice and feedback. Dean is an intelligent man who understands 

NLTA processes and is very connected to policies and practices and how they relate to teachers and students in 

classrooms. I highly respect the time and efforts put forth by Dean in relation to all of his past and present NLTA 

roles and duties. He is highly motivated to support teachers in their classrooms.  

I cannot think of another educator more suited for leading the NLTA in the future. I will be voting for Mr. Ingram in

known Dean for many years now, as a fellow NLTA colleague, and as a friend. I met Dean while I was a member of 

the Conception Bay South Branch Council during my tenure as a high school teacher and school counsellor in two 

schools in the CBS area. During that time, I came to appreciate Dean’s integrity, work ethic, fairness, and 

dedication to the issues affecting the teachers in our province. I have enjoyed the many opportunities to discuss 

and debate the concerns of teachers with Dean during my attendance at many NLTA Joint Councils and at two 

BGM conventions. His honest and pragmatic insight into the concerns of teachers sets him apart from others who 

may seek higher office within the NLTA. Dean has many years of experience working on behalf of the teachers of 

the province. It is work that is very important to him because he is our colleague, and he knows that what affects 

us as educators, also affects him. He derives much personal satisfaction working on our behalf. 

  From my personal perspective, Dean is very warm and approachable, and willing to listen or offer advice 

when needed. He visits schools, talks with school staffs, and knows their concerns. He has an extensive repertoire 

of knowledge through his work with the NLTA and an exemplary record of leadership within the association. Dean 

has worked tirelessly to make sure that teachers feel valued within our association. He knows that a healthy 

teacher workforce contributes directly to positive student outcomes. As NLTA President, I have no doubt 

whatsoever that he would continue this very important work on behalf of the teachers of this province, especially

and Labrador Teachers Union. He is an excellent fit for that position. 

 I have known Dean for 40 years. We graduated from high school together and we finished our degrees at MUN the same year. Dean worked hard as a classroom teacher and he was dedicated to be the best for every student he worked with. As a representative of the NLTA in the early days, he kept current with initiatives and represented his branch effectively. Currently as Vice President of the NLTA, Dean continues to talk to, visit and listen to the issues of teachers. He attends workshops and conferences and he shares his findings with his fellow colleagues and teachers in the province.  I am confident that Dean will make an excellent choice for President of the NLTA. As a classroom teacher, I would have confidence in Dean’s leadership to represent all teachers in our province.  Pamela Williams – Teacher, Upper Gullies Elementary, CBS.   It is with great pleasure that I write this endorsement for Mr. Dean Ingram, candidate for President of 

the Newfoundland Labrador Teacher’s Association, 2017‐2019.  I met Mr. Dean   Ingram through my 

involvement with the NLTA several years ago. Mr. Ingram was very welcoming to new members; he was 

a great source of information on many important topics and was always approachable.  He has been 

steadfast in his resolve for the betterment of the Association and all its members. He is very articulate 

when communicating the views of the association, is always professional and diplomatic when 

conducting business on behalf of the teachers of Newfoundland and Labrador. As a member of the 

Provincial Executive I have witnessed firsthand the passion Dean has and shares for Education in our

What qualities make a great leader?  When I ask myself this question I immediately think of the usual: 

knowledge, organization, experience, & ability to lead.  It is without a doubt that Dean Ingram possesses 

all of these qualities in bounties.  His experience in all areas of his professional, as well as his personal, 

life have prepared him to effectively lead teachers through the upcoming two years.  But I believe it is 

his personal qualities that truly make Dean the best person to lead us into the challenging times ahead.  

Dean is welcoming and kind, he makes time to speak to those around him and ensures they feel like part 

of the team.  He is caring and family‐oriented and understands that there is more to people than simply 

what you see in front of you.  His dedication to his NLTA family, as well as to his own family, is fierce and 

unwavering.  He will stand up and fight for the greater good while maintaining a high level of 

professionalism, no matter what it takes.  I have known Dean for many years through my involvement 

with the Canadian Army Cadet Organization and through the NLTA.  I have seen these great leadership

Managerial Leadership is perhaps the most essential ability a person can have when leading an 

organization. The capacity to steer a group in the correct direction, during difficult economic, social and 

political times, while overseeing the managing of countless committees and councils is a task that not 

just anyone can perform. In my own role as Branch President, I have had the pleasure of working with a 

great president in James Dinn and now I fully believe that with the end of his term, comes the need to

is such a person. His knowledge of the issues that affect teachers, students and anyone involved in the 

Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers' Association is not only invaluable but unmatched. His dedication 

to the organization has been shown through his actions rather than relying simply on words and the 

current reality in our province highlights the value of living up to our promises and acting as we have 

said we will. I believe that Mr. Ingram will make an effective and collaborative president, working for 

the members and with them to find solutions to ongoing and new issues and to create and stronger, 

better NLTA for the teachers and students of Newfoundland and Labrador.

I have followed Dean's NLTA involvement for many years.   I had the opportunity to get to know Dean on 

a more personal level when I became a Branch president in 2012. Right from the start he impressed me.

Dean has been involved with the NLTA for more than 20 years in various capacities.   In his role as a 

member of the Executive, Dean has served on a number of committees including Chair of the 

Negotiating committee during the most recent round of collective bargaining.  Dean's experience is 

broad in scope and varied. Dean is well versed with regards to the many issues facing teachers. He 

serves the Association with pride.  Dean is a very personable and down to earth individual.  Dean is a

I met Dean Ingram at BGM 2011.  Since then I have been witness to Dean's passion for teaching and 

learning in Newfoundland and Labrador and his steadfast resolve to safeguard teacher's well being.  He 

is keenly aware that teacher's in this province are second to none and recognizes their dedication, hard 

work, and love of the craft.  But make no mistake, Dean is also deeply concerned about the challenges 

teacher's face during in this province's tough economic and political climate.  I have heard him speak 

about increases to teacher workload due to budget cuts and increased classroom size, the resultant 

teacher stress, and the toll it is taking on mental health.  He understands the issues of classroom 

resourcing and what teachers need to deliver quality education.  Most importantly, he knows why this is 

important...to make the learning environment in each and every classroom in this province the absolute

I have known Dean since I attended my first NLTA BGM in 2003. During the past 13+ years, and more 

particularly over the past 9+ years as an NLTA Provincial Executive member, I have had the pleasure of 

working very closely with Dean on behalf of our teaching membership. As a long standing member of 

our Provincial Executive and someone who has contributed to our profession throughout his entire 

teaching, administrative and NLTA career, including as a two‐term NLTA Vice‐President, I am confident

Dean has served many roles within NLTA, but I believe his strongest asset is his intimate knowledge of

I have been an active member of the NLTA for the past fifteen years and have served on the 

Clarenbridge Branch since 2006. Since that time I have known Dean Ingram as a member of joint council 

and most recently as NLTA Vice President. 

To begin, I have never before publically endorsed a candidate for anything: including NLTA, MP, MLA, 

Premier, Prime Minister or even president of the school’s student council. However, in this case, I gladly 

support Dean in his endeavors. 

Dean has proven that he is a vocal, passionate and dedicated member of the NLTA. When asked to 

speak to the members of our branch, he has always been very accommodating and has done so with 

professionalism and integrity. He has supported our efforts to build a stronger voice for teachers and 

parents in our area and has always represented the NLTA with poise. Most recently, Dean spoke at a 

rally to save an addition to Riverside Elementary School in Clarenville. Dean was able to articulate 

exactly how the members of our school community were feeling but did so with much more poise than 

most of us in attendance.  

Dean brings with him a passion for the profession, a desire to protect the integrity of the education 

system and handles situations with remarkable tact. In addition, he is very knowledgeable when it 

comes to affairs of the NLTA and makes a conscious effort to listen to teacher concerns/questions when

I am sincerely pleased to nominate Dean for the position of President of the Newfoundland and 

Labrador Teacher's Association. I have known Dean for almost two decades and have witnessed his 

consistent professionalism as both an educator and advocate for our association. Dean has always 

answered my inquiries with an excellent level of knowledge and insight. He has always been forthright 

when discussing policy and very diplomatic in debate. I have been to a number of Joint Councils and 

BGM's and have always been impressed by his skill to arrive at the core of an issue and then offer

Another noteworthy trait I find about Dean is his accessibility. If I make an inquiry, Dean will usually

As the president of the Baie Verte Branch for the past four years, I have had many opportunities to work 

with the provincial executive and other representatives of the NLTA from across the province. While this 

can be a daunting experience for a new teacher, I was personally impressed with the level of support 

and encouragement expressed by those around me. Dean Ingram was one such peer who took the time 

to welcome me to the fold and help me along the way. It was very apparent that Dean exhibited a 

genuine interest and enthusiasm for supporting new members. The same can be said for his 

commitment to this profession and the students he works with. As a CDLI teacher, Dean has traveled to 

many of schools on his caseload to personally connect with his students as a means to improve their 

learning experience. Dedication is an invaluable attribute in this line of work and Dean has proven his

As our current vice president, Dean Ingram has always demonstrated himself as a knowledgeable and 

passionate advocate of our association. His level of understanding of the inner workings of this

Furthermore, he has always presented himself as an approachable and welcoming ambassador, who

I have known Dean Ingram for more than twenty years as he has been a colleague of mine in the field of 

education. Dean has been rigorously active in NLTA circles since I have known him. Whether at the

students in our province. He has extensive experience in our Association, including the past four years as 

our Vice President.  He has served us well over this time and he has the necessary experience to lead us 

into the next two years. 

We are continually facing new issues and expectations and we need someone with Dean’s experience 

and expertise at our helm to ensure our concerns are being heard and our needs are being addressed. 

When you elect our next President in December, please give Dean Ingram your consideration and

I would like to offer my recommendation of Dean Ingram for the position of President with the 

Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers Association. I have known Dean for many years and in many 

capacities, as a friend, teacher, member of the NLTA executive and as vice president of our association. I 

feel strongly that Dean has the personality, understanding and the experience to serve as the new 

President of NLTA. 

 As a teacher and Branch President, I have had the opportunity to work with Dean on many occasions to 

resolve issues related to both teachers and students in the education system. Throughout his career, he 

has gained the knowledge and experience to deal with these issues and has brought this knowledge to 

the association. He speaks with determination and thoughtfulness and delivers on his promise to seek 

resolution to issues brought forward by teachers.

I am writing to show my support for Dean Ingram for position of President of the Newfoundland and 

Labrador Teacher’s Association. During my terms as Vice President and President of the Long Range 

Branch I have witnessed Dean’s dedication to the workings of the Association. His active involvement on 

committees at the Provincial level shows he is willing to commit time and energy to issues facing 

teachers in this province. He has a strong understanding of the workings of the Association and its role 

within our education system, not only from the perspective of teachers, but also from that of the 

students and parents. He has served on provincial bargaining committees which provides valuable 

insight into negotiating with our employer. Through his experience with CDLI he has gained significant

I am pleased to write this letter of endorsing Mr. Dean Ingram for the position of NLTA president.  I have 

known Mr. Ingram for about ten years through his various positions with the NLTA. 

I met Dean through my involvement with the NLTA’s Physical Education Special Interest Council (PESIC) 

at Leadership Seminars hosted by the NLTA.  At that time Dean was an executive member of the NLTA, 

providing advice, leadership and guidance to all special interest councils (SICs), many of which were in 

their formative years and others like PESIC that were well established.   His knowledge of the SIC 

structure enabled him to contribute to organizational discussions and his general curiosity and sincere 

willingness to learn about individual councils showed his aspirations to help teachers of our province 

grow and flourish.   

Before the addition of Provincial Executive Liaisons working with SIC’s, Dean indicated to PESIC of his 

particular interests in our work.  He provided invaluable help and was a mentor to me as I attended the 

NLTA BGM’s as PESIC’s president and got my feet wet submitting and speaking to resolutions and 

following meeting protocol in general.  He was a natural fit as PESIC’s first liaison on the provincial 

executive.  Dean attended PESIC meetings, helped with conference organization and maintained 

consistent communication providing us with a strong voice at the provincial table.  What stands out in 

Dean’s leadership to me is his willingness to learn about the issues that face physical education teachers 

and question and provide constructive feedback to our council and me personally as president.  His style 

and support allowed our council to improve in needed areas and helped me further develop my own 

leadership qualities. 

For the above reasons I feel Mr. Dean Ingram is an excellent candidate for the position of President of 

our NLTA.

It has been my pleasure to have known Dean Ingram as a dedicated educator in the Vista Region of 

ESDNL for many years before my involvement with NLTA as Branch President.  In 2003 when Dean was 

first elected to Provincial Executive Council, I witnessed the drive and determination he had and 

continues to have as an advocate for teachers’ concerns province wide.   Throughout the years Dean has 

chaired and been involved with numerous NLTA committees, expanding his knowledge of the internal 

workings of our Association.  His understanding of our Collective Agreement is extensive, having chaired 

the negotiating team in our last contract.  During my years as Landfall Branch President, Dean was our 

branch contact on Provincial Executive and always kept in touch with the issues of the day and was 

readily available to attend Branch meetings when requested.  As NLTA Vice President Dean’s awareness 

and concerns of the teachers province wide has given him a solid foundation of the direction the 

Association should go.   Even though I am recently retired and cannot vote, I strongly urge all active 

teachers to support Dean Ingram’s candidacy for NLTA President.

I have known Dean since his first involvement with NLTA as a branch president and he has always fought 

to improve things for teachers. Dean is a strong team player who will work with others to better the 

working environment of teachers. He is an honest and hardworking individual who will not be weak in 

negotiations with government. With the province’s current fiscal situation and the cuts already made to 

education, we cannot allow government to strip our contract. Dean has been an excellent Vice‐President 

over the past four years as he is open to quality dialogue at Joint Council and BGM to make the NLTA 

stronger and better. As a teacher, administrator and branch president, I have complete confidence that 

Dean is the best choice for NLTA president as we head into contract negotiations and to lead the NLTA 

for the next two years.

It gives me great pleasure to endorse Dean Ingram’s candidacy of president of the Newfoundland 

Teacher’s Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (N.L.T.A). Dean has been actively involved with the 

N.L.T.A since he started his profession as a teacher. He has served in various positions within his local 

branch, including branch president, and spent many years as member of N.L.T.A. Executive Council, 

eventually becoming the Association’s Vice‐President for the past four (4) years. In all of these positions, 

Dean has received the support of a great majority of his colleagues. This is because Dean is a hard‐

working, conscientious, and knowledgeable representative. 

I have personally known Dean for twenty‐ plus years, and find him to be one of the most dedicated 

N.L.T.A. members I have ever met. Upon first meeting Dean many years ago, he initially impressed me 

about his knowledge of our collective agreement and association policies. Over these past years, 

especially in his tenure as a member of executive council and vice president of N.L.T.A, his knowledge 

has grown even more. At various joint council meetings and A.G.M/B.G.M’s Dean has been the go to 

person on association policies and procedures when Association staff was unavailable. Dean willingly 

imparts his understanding of the issues in a logical, matter‐of‐fact manner, never seeming to be aloof or 

condescending. These are necessary qualities in a future president of our association. 

As N.L.T.A President, Dean will represent his colleagues with  the same dedication, hard work, and 

professionalism he has put into his career as a teacher and representative in his numerous roles within 

the association thus far. I am proud to endorse Dean Ingram for the position of President of N.L.T.A.
