Healthy & Wellness Resource Showcase Assignment

In this assignment my 4DI decision Making (Red) is helping me to decide what is an important

thing to choose for infant nutrition assigned by our teacher. Our first chose for infant nutrition as

a subtitle we decided “Introducing Solids”. I give a suggestion to my group it is very easy if we

do our topic presentation for parents because parents are the decision maker and preparing the

food for infant when we talk about feeding infant they must know about their children, also how

and when to start feeding their children in a healthy way.

This assignment seems very easy, but it takes time to prepare pamphlet because we need

information from trusted resources. I took my time to find information from different resources

and prepared pamphlet. While I search for information I learned a lot about children feeding

nutrition and some strategies from some websites and some personal experiences of other

individual people’s comments. I also organized and assigned our group members to bring some

props for our presentation. To prepare for the presentation we divided different stages for every

individual group member, therefore it is very easy to study and prepare our parts to present.

Our group could do very good if we communicate more because we use only class time to do

our assignment. We could have more ideas in our assignment on our pamphlet and

presentation. I think for future group assignment I encourage my group to communicate better

using different ways such as email use technology it is easy to communicate exchange ideas

and help each other to do excellent work.

This assignment is very useful experience and practices it shows me how I can help as an ECE

working with children and parent who need help providing information and teaches parents to

have healthy children and family in our community.
