I hope the 4th of July was a fun and safe day. Also by the time this newsletter hits the presses our annual picnic will have come and gone. I would like to say a great big Thank You to Sal Culovic for Chairing our Annual Picnic. Great Job! And of course to all of our officers, bartenders, Eva and her kitchen staff and of course all of our volunteers who donated their time and helped make it a great day. A special Thanks to anyone who may have donated door prizes, baked goods or helped in anyway. These events are only successful because of you. We must add special Thanks to a group of men who continue to perform miracles reconditioning bicycles and battery operated cars. The AT&T Recyclers. This group of men Steve Pevec, Mike Adamic, Fred Jarosz, Bill Walsh, John Fengi and our own Ed Blahut spend so many hours working on these bikes and cars. We have benefitted for not only our picnics but also the children’s Christmas party. Thanks once again gentlemen. Also special Thanks to Ron Neroni’s neighbors Kim and Stephanie Musi and Ken and Amy Trusnik for donating bikes for the AT&T Recyclers to do their miracles on. Great support from friends of the Club. Well it is hard to believe summer is winding and we are now moving toward to the Fall Schedule. A full slate of events are in place for the coming months. Don’t forget the August Birthday Dinner with Chicken Paprikas. Our Annual Fall Clambake/Big Bucks Raffle is September 24th. Hurry tickets sell out fast. This year we will have a Halloween/Band Night Party October 28th. The feature band is called The Night School Band. Soon after the Holidays will be upon us. After a short recuperation we are pleased to announce the return of The Rat Pack Friday January 27th. This will be a Pasta Dinner/ Big Bucks Raffle, stay tuned for more information on all these events. As always see you around the club at one of our many events. With no Birthday dinner in July there is no feed-

back. Please remember if your birthday was in July

we will be celebrating it at the August Birthday

Dinner along with the August celebrants.

By the time you get this newsletter we will have had

the Annual Picnic. The forecast for the weather

was for 95° of great weather. Hopefully the day

was great . Because you know we are ready. We

love the down home feeling of this old fashioned

picnic. This being an election year our theme was

Red White and Blue. God Bless America!

Nice crowds on Thursdays for the weekly drawing

this summer. Stop in the beer is cold, the people

are friendly and it is always good to see you!

Bucks Raffle. Save Friday January 27th,

At the June monthly meeting a motion was made and carried to

have an increase in the 2017 dues. The increase would be $5 across

the board. Regular membership would increase from $20 to $25

and senior membership from $15 to $20. No increase or change on

lifetime membership.

Per the by laws the motion must be read at 3 consecutive monthly

meetings. The 1st reading was at the July meeting. The 2nd will be

read at the August meeting and the final reading will be at the

September meeting. A vote will be taken on the proposed change

to the by laws after the 3rd reading.

Remember as a member it is your right to vote on this amendment.

Wow! Congratulations to young Rylee Dawn Shamblin

for her recent second runner up finish in The Pure

International Pageant held in Florida. Rylee, who was

Miss Ohio is the 7 yr old daughter of Steven Shamblin Jr.

and his wife Jacque and granddaughter of Steve Sr. and

his wife Sharon. They would like to thank all who

helped with the fund raising to make the trip possible.

The September Birthday Dinner will

kick off the Labor Day weekend on

September 2nd, be sure to get your

reservations in early. What a perfect

way to end the work week and begin

the Holiday! The menu that night will

be Stuffed Peppers or Baked

WHO’S HOT?

The Indians are hotter then the

weather. Get out to a ball game soon.

Maybe they will be bringing us our

next championship! Fingers crossed!
