Presidents Corner Greetings to all, I hope the summer has been good to you. The weather sure has been great. I hope the 4th of July was a fun and safe day. Also by the time this newsletter hits the presses our annual picnic will have come and gone. I would like to say a great big Thank You to Sal Culovic for Chairing our Annual Picnic. Great Job! And of course to all of our officers, bartenders, Eva and her kitchen staff and of course all of our volunteers who donated their time and helped make it a great day. A special Thanks to anyone who may have donated door prizes, baked goods or helped in anyway. These events are only successful because of you.
We must add special Thanks to a group of men who continue to perform miracles reconditioning bicycles and battery operated cars. The AT&T Recyclers. This group of men Steve Pevec, Mike Adamic, Fred Jarosz, Bill Walsh, John Fengi and our own Ed Blahut spend so many hours working on these bikes and cars. We have benefitted for not only our picnics but also the children’s Christmas party. Thanks once again gentlemen.
Also special Thanks to Ron Neroni’s neighbors Kim and Stephanie Musi and Ken and Amy Trusnik for donating bikes for the AT&T Recyclers to do their miracles on. Great support from friends of the Club.
Well it is hard to believe summer is winding and we are now moving toward to the Fall Schedule. A full slate of events are in place for the coming months. Don’t forget the August Birthday Dinner with Chicken Paprikas. Our Annual Fall Clambake/Big Bucks Raffle is September 24th. Hurry tickets sell out fast. This year we will have a Halloween/Band Night Party October 28th. The feature band is called The Night School Band. Soon after the Holidays will be upon us. After a short recuperation we are pleased to announce the return of The Rat Pack Friday January 27th. This will be a Pasta Dinner/ Big Bucks Raffle, stay tuned for more information on all these events.
As always see you around the club at one of our many events.
Your President
Mike Costanzo
