Portfolio Elisa Haynes

I mashed maple story and Amoe battle and created a new UI for Ameo battle. My strength over all in every project is coloring. I enjoy mixing the colors and creating different shapes. It was hard concepting UI’s because I’m not into detailing Uis. It was great to have an experience on making UIS

The star wars commercial was based off of the old spice commercial with multiple things going on such as backgrounds and characters changing. Drawing the characters were easier then backgrounds. I have no patients for storyboards but this help me control it more.

This was the best frame to me because it shows the playfulness in R2D2. The commercial is a comedy and this told a story to me. I enjoyed coloring the scene more then doing the line work.

My story is based on two sisters who balanced out good and evil. Light and darkness. I wanted to show a relationship between the sisters and mother nature (Their mom). Drawing these and coloring them were my strengths. Trying to come up with the concepts were the trickiest.

I redid the concepts to be more simpler and straight to the point. I felt more comfortable drawing the characters and enjoyed, again coloring. I tried to put into the darkness and lightness in the background and have the mom be in the corner foreshadowing.

I put a ying yang and a world resembling what they have to protect. I made the two sisters fight and made them pop out of the light and darkness. Putting more detailed into the coloring and effects is what I loved about this project. It was very hard to come up with the soul of the image and it took 2 weeks to figure it out.
