www.harvestholiday.com Note from the Chair It’s that time again! Harvest Holiday Festival 2016 is only a couple of weeks away. The pre-Festival activities will take place at Swingtime in Fort Worth from Monday night through Thursday, November 21 to 24. All pre-Festival events are free. The Harvest Holiday Festival is at Sokol Hall in Dallas from Friday through Sunday morning, November 25 to 27. We are privileged to have Curt and Tammy Worlock as guest clinicians, Christine & Theron Hixson in the Phase 3-4 Hall, and our local staff cuers participating throughout the week. We hope that all the Harvest Holiday dancers will bring snacks for the after parties at Swingtime and Sokol, help clean the hall, and generally pitch in to help make the week successful. This Sunday, November 13, we have a Harvest Holiday business meeting at 1:00 pm, immediately preceding the Sunday Fun Dance. Please come early to the meeting, as we will be making final preparations for the Festival week activities. Miscellaneous Festival Information The list of dances programmed for the Friday and Saturday night Phase IV-IV Hall is posted on the website: www.harvestholiday.com. Thanksgiving Day – Luby’s Cafeteria (approx. 1-1/2 mile from Swingtime and a block from La Quinta) will be open from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will have a Thanksgiving Dinner menu available. If we give Luby’s an approximate number about an hour before we go to eat, they will arrange some tables so we can all sit together. At this time, several HH members are planning to eat there after the Thursday afternoon impromptu teach (around 4:00-4:30 p.m.). Anyone is welcome to join the group – no need to “sign up.”
