    PREFACE

The world of business can seem like a tough place. If you are

struggling with work and the day to day grind, then consider this :-

You are not alone , It may seem that others are coping better than you ,doingbetter than you , making better decisions than you , but know this : many

people put on a front and go through life putting on a front. Be who you are

whilst they try to be who they want to be.

A practical study plays a vital role in the field of education. It has been

introduced for the students to get the practical knowledge along with the

theoretical knowledge. How management principles are implemented inbusiness can be known through visits only. The students can become aware

about the industrial environment, problems and opportunities and also gives

them chance to show their skills & abilities.

In this project, I was required to visit RAJOO ENGINEERS LTD. To

gain a practical knowledge about the prevailing market conditions. I was quiet

fortunate to get an opportunity to work with such a reputed , well known and

professional unit and study the level of satisfaction provided by the company

to the customers. This kind of industry becomes a helping hand for the

students of management field. This company proved to be a supportive force

for the completion of this project.

Despite global competition, the Indian plastic industry is expanding.

Large project have been set up are under construction for the production of

the polymers. The Indian industry has the capacity to export polymers in

millions of tons, which will go up as some of the Indian petrochemical majors

are currently operating at low capacity utilization with the steady build up of

capacities, the downstream products industry is increasingly accessing local

    supplies.

The plastic industry in India is exporting to more than 150 countries

around the globe. Due to increased globalization and India being recognized

well in the international area and with the capability to project the products in

international platforms, there is very good opportunity for the industry.

Relatively young; Rajoo Engineers Limited made modest beginning in

1986 with manufacturing facilities at a remote village of Gujarat with a small

set up mainly suited to manufacture bag making machines.

However, the company soon entered into development of blown film

extrusion system and delivered its first PPTQ film plant in 1988 and since then

never looked back and continued to add one after the another extrusion

systems into its product range consistently, abandoning the Bag making

    business layer in 1992.

As a result, company today has impressive widest range of monolayer

blown film lines for processing diverse variety of plastics form commodity

polymers like LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP to EVA, NYLON, PVC and PS.

The company also simultaneously made vast strides in multiplayer

blown film extrusion systems, mono and multiplayer sheet extrusion systems,

pipe and profile lines for PVC, PP and PE and also0 thermo formers.

The companys growth was not limited to the growth in product range

but has prominently touched all facts of operations.

  • 8/2/2019 Harsh Final Sip(2)

The company went public in 1994 and the overwhelming response of

the capital market which resulted in over subscription by about 25 times, is, by

itself, a record in India Plastic Machinery Manufacturing Industry.

While sales, with uninterrupted increase, registered a growth of around

400 times since inception, the bottom line too fared equally good despite

recessionary trends in the India economy during recent years.

While the quality, workmanship, energy efficiency and level of

sophistication and automation underwent tremendous development all these

years, positioning companys products globally acceptable, the level of

customer satisfaction also remained high resulting into repeat orders

contributing to more than 60% of companys business.

Companys exports multiplied during this period after it made debut in

the international market in 1990 with an export to Tanzania. The company

now has an installation base in Tanzania, Kenya, Nigeria, , South Africa,

Russia, , Bangladesh, Malaysia, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Pakistan, Nepal,

Vietnam, Namibia, Zambia, and most significantly in most demanding

    markets of U.K. and U.S.A.

In past, people are believed that time is money. But in this running era,we came to know that time is more than money.

RAJOO ENGINEERShave developedan effective time keeping system

which helps them achieve a lot of benefits. There are various factors. Which

affects time keeping system, like production capacity, demand for the products

    etc.

The timing for work is as below:-

-For officers :- 8:30 am to 12:30 pm

    Break :- 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm

    2:00 pm to 6:00

    -For workers :- 8:00 am to 2:00

    Break :- 12:00 am to 2:00 & 2:00 pm to 6:00

The factory works in one shift only. Sometimes when the demand

is huge at that time workers are asked to work for over time and

    accordingly they are paid more

Location means the place where the plant of company is

established. There are several factors affecting the location of a unit.

The question for selecting location of the unit is arised only when, a

new unit or branch of unit is to be established or when the expansion of

    existing business is needed.

Hence the location of the unit should be suitable and proper as it plays a

vital role for the success of the unit.

As we know, there are four units ofRAJOO ENGINEERS, but I have

visited the main unit of RAJOO ENGINEERS. It is located at shaper

(Veraval) Rajkot, which is regarded as a developed as well as industrial area.

Due to this location company has been getting many advantages like

Availability of land at cheaper rate

Infrastructural such as, transport, banking, water,

    electricity etc

    Easy availability of raw material

    Suitable climate etc

Thus, from above lavational factors we came to the conclusion that

RAJOO ENGINEERS is suitable at perfect location.

Production is the basic activity of industrial unit. All other activities

revolve around this activity. The end product of the production activity is the

Creation of goods and services for the satisfaction of human wants. The

production activity is nothing but the stepbystep process of raw material

in to finished goods by finally process.

The Production of a business is concern with the orientation of a

product or service required to satisfy customer need, want and desire. In any

business that supplies a needed product or services. It is quite obvious that

activities of production system must be closely related to the customer demand

as reflected in continuous flaw order.

For any researcher, the research methodology is the most important criteria to

be decided before the actual research process starts.

There are many methods for conducting the research. Out of these all research

methods the research method which was most suitable to my research wasdescriptive research because, this research includes surveys and fact findings

    inquires of different kinds.

The major purpose of descriptive research is to elaborate the state of affairs as

it exits at present. In social science and business research , we often use the

term expert factor research for descriptive research studies. So it provides me

all the opportunities to cover all the aspect that I am required to conduct theresearch and get an appropriate outcome.

Stress has been called the invisible. It is a disease that may affect

people, organization, and any of the people in it, so you cannot afford to

ignore it. Stress can be explained basically as pressure upon a persons

psychological system which arises out of complexity or intensity of ones

work life. Though stress is basically upon a persons psychological set-up, it

also in turn affects his/her physical and behavioral systems. The sources of

stress can be individual, organizational and social.

According to Beehr and Newman, stress is a condition arising from

the interaction of people and their jobs and characterized by changes within

people that force them to deviate from their normal functioning.

According to Fred Luthans, stress is an adaptive response to an

external situation that results in physical, psychological and behavioral

    deviations for organizational participants.

Simple design is definite plan for obtaining a sample from a given

population. It refers to the technique or procedure the researcher would adopt

selecting items for the sample. Sample design may as well as lay down the no.

of item to be included in the sample. Ex. The size of sample. Sample design

is determined before the data are collected.

It is very true that its very difficult to do the research with the wholeuniverse. As we know that is not feasible to go for population survey because

of the numerous customer and their scattered location. So for this purpose

sample size has to be determined well in advance and selection of sample also

must be scientific so that it represents the whole universe far as our research is

concerned, we have taken sample size of 20 respondents.

    DATA COLLECTION

Primary data collection: - those which are collected and for the first

time, and thus happen to be original in character.

Secondary data, on the other hand, are those which have already been

    collected by someone else.

    116/118

RAJOO ENGINEERS does not carry any export program all exports

are done by ADICO COMPANY. The unit should export its product to other

coronaries. It should make all its effort to promote export through government

quotas which is provided by the government.

The trained salesman should be appointed to increases sales at its

product. And also have to undertake more advertisement programmers.

The unit should develop a separate research department to maintain

accuracy and for the innovation pf new products.
