Registration and Management
Presentation Objective
• After completing this presentation, users will be able to create and manage an individual ePermit Center User Account within the Harford County ePermit Center System.
ePermit Center Accounts
• Creating an ePermit Center account makes a one-to-one relationship to a contact within the back office database. A contact in the back office cannot
be associated to more than one ePermit Center account.
• The term “Contact” is defined as an individual or company associated with an account or a record created within the ePermit Center system.
• To be consistent with County Policy, a company contact may not contain the first or last name of an individual.
• Commercial applicants may want to create both a company and an individual ePermit Center account so all features of the site are available.
ePermit Center Access Features
• Request inspections for permitted projects
• View permit and inspection details
• View associated Professional Licenses that are issued to the contact
• View and pay open invoices
• List permits linked to the contact
• Renew dog licenses
• Renew professional trade licenses
Instructions
• Navigate through the Harford County Government website or enter the ePermit Center Home page website address in a web browser address bar. The site performs best using Google Chrome.
• Select the Login or Register button on the ePermit Center home page.

Instructions
• Step 1 - Enter your email address.
• Step 2 - You will receive a message to check your email and Confirm the email link in the body the message.
• Step 1 & 2 have been completed.

• Step 3 – After confirming your email address, you will be linked back to the registration page. Fill in your personal info, password, and address and submit the registration.
• An email will be sent after County staff approve the account.

Registration Process Notes:
• An ePermit Center account request
containing a Company name will be linked to
a company contact.
• Contact Preference – generally an email address
• Address Type – please select Mailing
After Registering
• Registrants will see an on screen message
stating the user has been “Successfully
Created” and is awaiting activation.
– A County government employee will verify and link the request to a valid contact within the ePermit Center back office system.
– Once completed, the registrant will be notified
(via email) the account has been activated and is ready to use.
ePermit Center Passwords
• Account passwords are not accessible by any
County staff member.
• Users must use the Forgot your password tool
to make changes or set up a new password.
