CURRENT SERMON SERIES’
Pastor Travis and Pastor Elvin have begun preaching a Sunday morning series through 1 Corinthians, analyz-ing the compromises made by the Corinthian Church and discussing ways that we at Grace Community Church can avoid repeating their mis-takes. Join us for “Paradise Lost?” each Sunday morning.
Sunday nights beginning in October!

The search team is conduc ng in‐person interviews with candi‐dates and their families. As these men come to Overbrook, please be in prayer for guidance, wisdom, and clarity on the part of both the search team and the candidate. We are hoping to present a candidate for cabinet approval soon.
MONTHLY BOOK RECOMMENDATION October’s book recommenda on comes as a result of a recent conversa on I had with a though ul church member. We spoke about how the church is o en ignorant of how to respond to culture, neglec ng to engage in a once important discipline in Chris anity: Rea-son. This book reminds us of the importance of Chris an thinking and compels readers to re-spond to the world not primarily with our emo ons but rather with our minds. [How Should We Then Live? by Francis A. Schaeffer. Published by CrossWay Books, 1976, 1983]
NEW CLASS FOR G.I.G – Beginning Wed. Sept. 7 I will be teaching a 12-week video series on the history of Chris anity!
Join us each week as we look into “Chris an History Made Easy”.
