NAIDOC – Stories in the Sky Our 3-6 students had a an amazing visit to the planetarium at Camden Haven High School last week and we would like to thank the high school for organising and funding this special opportunity for our students. They learnt about the significance of the constellations and space for Aboriginal people.

Book Fair To coincide with our Book Parade, we will be holding our Book Fair in the library from Monday 12th August to Friday 16th August. There will be a huge range of books to choose from and every purchase made will go towards earning learning and literary resources for the school.

P&C News 100 Club The P&C has started a new 100 club. It is being held at the shop and the numbers cost $5 each. First prize is $200. Spread the word with family and friends. Thanks for your support Spag Bol Spaghetti bolognaise is available to purchase for lunch at a cost of $5 each. Place orders and payment with staff in the mornings and staff will heat your child’s meal in time for lunch.

P&C meeting The next P&C meeting will be held this afternoon, Monday 5th August, at 5pm. All welcome. Ada Bird The P&C would like to pay our respects to the Bird and Buttsworth families over the death of Ava Bird. She was a wonderful lady and we were very privileged to provide catering for her 100th birthday a few years ago. Ada had a wonderful connection with our school, most recently cutting the cake with our youngest student at our quasquicentenary in 2017. Rest in peace “Aunty Ada”.

Uniforms We still have an oversupply of winter uniform stock. If you wish to place an order, please leave it at the office with payment and we will fill it for you. If you are paying online please add your reference number to the order form. Quote of the week
