IPAs discussed in my essay the three legged school was at the basis of the school cultures I experienced as a learner. They excepted hard work from there students, relevant teaching from their instructor and strong relationships with peers, teachers and family members.
Intern and External Supports Systems
Group of girls I attended all of Kindergarten to Grade 12 with. Most important and relevant support system I had throughout my education. We completed projects, studied together and have traveled together. These are the kind of people that help you through the journey of learning.
My family who worked with me through scafolding. Supported my decisions and helped me overcome obstacles.
My younger sister Mikaela. We learned French and Spanish together. We worked as a team through conversation to develop language acquisition throughout our education.

Support System Learning
My Grade 7 FLA Homework; Vocabulary Building Exercise
My Mom’s Identical FLA Worksheet, that she too Completed.
Worksheets that both myself and my mom would complete in the seventh grade. It was learning alongside your supports system. I strategy I am
forever grateful to my teacher for.
Creating Curiosity and Engagement within the Learner
These are a collection of images that filled the walls of my Grade Seven Spanish classroom. This particular classroom is the perfect example of a teacher creating a learning environment that was interesting and exciting; a clasroom that sparked the learners curiosity. When I walked in this classroom I was immediately engaged in a culture and language I knew nothing about. This is the type of learner I am, I need a space or a social milieu that creates a sense of excitement and engagement. I remember looking at these photos, quotes, posters and books and being hit with a wall of curiosity. I wanted to understand every quote, explore every city, and learn about every piece of culture.

“Education is what remains after one has forgotten what has learned in school” (Thomas Edison). Quote that hung above the door of my grade one classroom
“A teacher affects eternity, he can never tell where his influence stops” (Henry Adams). Quote that was given in a speech on my first day of University at orientation
Quotes to Teach By
I believe these quotes are two phrases that will forever shape my teaching practices. Edison was correct in saying that after you have left the institution, true education is what remains. A good teacher is able to imbed ideas that that will stay with a student forever. The second quote of Adams works beautifully with Edison’s quote. I want to be the teachers who’s impact and lessons influence a student forever. I want to demonstrate my passion for teaching and have students use my influence as a teacher no matter where there learning takes them, I want them to chase their dreams using the knowledge and wisdom I can hopefully impose upon them.
Inspiring Learning Through Teaching and Example
A collection of photos from my various travels through Spanish speaking countries. I want to be able to inspire my students to use what have learned throughout their education and chase their dreams and travel the world. Much like I did in every one of these photos. I took my knowledge of languages and followed my dream of exploring the world and putting my learned Spanish into practice. I want my students to be inspired by learning and to go and take their knowledge outside the classroom!

This video was really inspiring to me. I want to teach students to be able to think like the young man in this video. If we can evoke this sense of passion and inspiration for any subject area within all of our students I believe that we will have done our job as teachers.
"In teaching as in carpentry, the selection of "tools" depends on the task at hand and the
materials one is working with" -John Brandsford
As future teachers we will have to be able to select the right “tools” to facilitate each and every students individual learning needs. I discuss this idea within my essay and how I believe it will shape my future teaching pedagogies. Bransford metaphor is very insightful for us as emerging teachers, in that we need to remember there is not just one tool or learning strategy that will work for all of our students.
