Dear Friends and Family

Thave been working with-several-potentialrecruits tlie past several months.Tammy Klien and two other ladies from Dallas Christian College Marci and

Jennifer were planning to go to Potiers France andwork with the Baird Familywhile helping start a campus ministry at the local university. ll three of theseyoung ladieshaverecentlydecided not to go to France at least at this time. Ifyouhavea chance pray for them as they continue to seek the Lords leadingin theirl ives.

s far as we know at this time A young man from Illinois and a marriedcouple from Indiana are still going. We would like to see two or three morepeople raise up and go before September. Please keep Andy and the Reinoehlsin your prayers as they continue with their plans of raising support and get all thelogistics for leaving in September workedout.

I have also been working with a young man that lives in Columbus Ohio. Imet him last year in Michigan. Josh Purvis has decided to go to Jamaica for oneyear to help Jacquesand ev Blackwell in BeacherTown. Josh will be helpingwiththe imishing of the orphanage Lord willing the funds come in to do that. He willalso be helping with the youth work and other church work there. KeepJosh inyour prayers too as he gets ready to go this summer. Pray for Jacques and ev andthe work there in Beacher Town.

I really don t need to put this portion in the newsletter. It should be obviousto a I of us how great the need for workers are overseas. We have opportunities rightnow in France Slovakia SoutheastAsia Turkey Russia etc. I could go on all day.Pray for the unreached peoplearound the world. Pray that the church would opentheir eyesto the needand act uponthe urgency that is so obvious to us.

wonderful h ealt h H e has blessed m e with

this p as t s um m er while I was on the roaddoing all of this traveling. I have been

I spent a week in Casper Wyoming

with friends at Paradise Valley Christian

Church. I enjoyed staying with my good

missionary companion Pat Allen. I enjoyed

sharing with the church and teaching at the

Chr i s t i an School .

When I returned to Texas I went

down to Austin or near Austin and spent a

week at a High School camp. I had a week

at h o m e a n d then w e n t d o w n to O r l a n d o

Florida a nd s pe nt five days at the National

Transplant Olympics. I was asked to attend

these g am es a nd I really enjoyed them. It

was nice to be able to share my story and

testimony with other transplant recipients

and donor families. I also enjoyed running

the 5K race in 32 m inu te s. The bes t runner

ran th e race in 27 minutes . He w as a

Kidney recipient. That Sunday CharlesMcNeely le t me share with th e church there

at Eastside Christian and teach the youth.

week at camp with

Reggie Brazil. It was

good to see everyone at Wilkinson Church

of Christ. I drove from there to Ft. Wayne

Indiana where J visited my friends at

Southwest Church of Chris t whom I h a d not

seen for about ten years . I really enjoyed

th e V S there too. Bryan and Kim Lewis

took good care of me. A fu n t ime was had

by all every place I visited. PRAISE GO D

SLOVAKIA

Kevin Mclnturff an d I have beenlooking for a team to go toBra ti sl ava S lovakia to start acampus ministry there. There are

English speaking students from90 separate countries in that smalltown. ClayDooley has decided togo and we would like to haveanother two or three people gowith himto make a good team.The team would he spending ayear learning Slovakian and sharing the Gospel of Christ with peopl e who have p ro ba blv n ev erheard before.

The last time we sent a t eam intoSlovakia, they were having BibleStudies in t he dorms with around25 people, of whom were fromeight different countries and hadnever seen a Bible in there la n

guage before. Campus Ministrywork is really exciting in countries a ro un d t he world.
