Our Responsibility to Know

• 1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

• 1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

The Swine Flu

Origin of Swine Flu “The pig has been considered the mixing bowl of influenza viruses. Avian flu and pig flu viruses have spread via the pig to humans. The association between swine and the emergence of new strains of influenza virus is well-known. Swine have a physiology very similar to humans and can harbor a virus that then can mutate to a form that is infectious to humans.

A Pig in a Poke

• “This new flu virus comes from the genes of two swine, one human and one avian influenza virus. It probably originated in a pig infected simultaneously with two or more flu viruses,” said Dr. Larry Baraff, chief of pediatric emergency medicine at Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA.

Species are Fixed

• Genesis 1:21 God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

• Genesis 1:25 God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Gerald Ford Ordered Vaccine

More than 40 million people were vaccinated. However, the program was stopped short after over 500 cases of Guillain-Barre

syndrome, a severe paralyzing nerve disease, were reported. 30 people died as a direct result of the vaccinations.

1976 Swine Flu at Fort Dix (biologocal weapon) Virological laboratory studies revealed the presence of a new swine influenza strain. The virus infected 230 soldiers and caused severe respiratory disease in 13, including one death.

Researchers Bring Back Spanish Flu

WINNIPEG, Manitoba, Jan. 17, 2007 The 1918-19 Spanish flu may have killed 50 million

persons by unleashing an uncontrolled immune response that fatally damaged lung tissue. …according to Darwyn Kobasa, Ph.D., of the Public Health Agency in Canada. He said studying the effects of 1918-19 virus -- painstakingly synthesized from DNA sequence data in the agency's Level Four containment facilities- may help researchers predict the effects of a new flu pandemic.

News FlashSunday, November 1, 2009 The company that released contaminated flu virus material from a plant in

Austria confirmed Friday that the experimental product contained live H5N1 avian flu viruses. The contaminated product, a mix of H3N2 seasonal flu viruses and unlabelled H5N1 viruses, was supplied to an Austrian research company.

The Austrian firm, Avir Green Hills Biotechnology..sent … it to sub-contractors in the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Germany. The contaminated product, a mix of H3N2 seasonal flu viruses and unlabelled H5N1 viruses, was supplied to an Austrian research company. Accidental release of a mixture of live H5N1 and H3N2 viruses could have resulted in dire consequences.

While H5N1 doesn’t easily infect people, H3N2 viruses do. If someone exposed to a mixture of the two had been simultaneously infected with both strains, he or she could have served as an incubator for a hybrid virus able to transmit easily to and among people.

That mixing process, called reassortment, is one of two ways pandemic viruses are created.

The strain in infected cattle is identical to that used for vaccines at an animal disease research site at Pirbright, UK. The strain is not one normally found in animals but is used in vaccine production and in diagnostic laboratories. The strain was used in a vaccine batch manufactured on 16 July by a private pharmaceutical company Merial Animal Health.

Biological Engineering“within a period of 5-10 years it would be possible to

produce a synthetic biological agent, an agent that does not naturally exist and for which no natural immunity could have been acquired.... It is a highly controversial issue and there are many who believe such research should not be undertaken lest it lead to another method of massive killing of large populations.” -- Dr. McArthur: Director of U.S. Army Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA) appearing before Congress (Appropriations Committee of the House), to request funding for biological warfare virus research, July 1969-70

Possible H5N1 - H1N1 Combination

•As in H1N1, the replikins in H5N1 ("Bird Flu") were found not to be distributed evenly throughout the genome but to be concentrated in the same two areas as in H1N1, and associated with lethality and infectivity. Clinically, H1N1 has high infectivity and low lethality, the opposite of H5N1, which has low infectivity and high lethality; and the Replikin Counts correspond exactly to the clinical characteristics of each strain. H5N1 lethality in humans has reached 80% in recent outbreaks.

$35 billion Industry

• Novartis, which develops vaccines at its Cambridge lab, expects to generate $1.2 billion from its swine flu vaccine.

• The global market for vaccines is projected to more than double from $16 billion in 2007, the most recent year for which data are available, to $35 billion in 2014, according to Cambridge consulting firm Scientia Advisors.

Vaccine Could be Mandatory

• By Shelby BakerFox8 News | Rebecca Bowling says she was shocked when she received an e-mail from her employer, Moses Cone Health Systems, that said employees must either get the H1N1 vaccine or turn in their employee badge.Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem is also requiring employees to get the H1N1 vaccine. Employees who do not get the vaccine could also risk losing their jobs.

Page 23: H1 N1

Who Do We Obey?

• Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Page 24: H1 N1

How Is It Made?

Hungarian pharmaceutical laboratory Omninvest announced that they are ready to develop the A/H1N1 flu vaccine once the sample virus arrives, assuring a production up to 500 000 vaccines per week. Previously Omninvest developed and produced a vaccine against H5N1, Avian flu.

The Swine

• Leviticus 11:3 Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.

• Leviticus 11:4 Nevertheless these shall ye not eat …

• 11:7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.

Antigen & Adjuvant

• Antigen = Virus

• Adjuvant = Added to help trigger a response from the immune system

Page 29: H1 N1

Autoimmune Disease

Autoimmune disease is a condition in which the immune system attacks the body's own material just as aggressively as it would attack a foreign pathogen.

Page 30: H1 N1

Adjuvant (added help)

• arthritis

• fibromyalgia

• Lymphadenopathy

• rashes

• malar rashes

• chronic fatigue

• Chronic headaches

• body hair loss

• skin lesions

• low-grade fevers

Squalene- has been used in experimental vaccines since 1987 and given to a great number of the participants in the Gulf War. (deployed & not deployed) The symptoms they developed included -

• aphthous ulcers

• dizziness

• Weakness

• memory loss

• Seizures

• mood changes

• psychiatric problems

• anti-thyroid effects

• anaemia, elevated ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate)

• systemic lupus erythematosus

• multiple sclerosis

• ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis)

• Raynaud’s phenomenon

• Sjorgren’s syndrome

• chronic diarrhoea

• night sweats

The Shark

• Leviticus 11:9 These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.

• Leviticus 11:10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:

Life is in the Blood

• Genesis 4:10  And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.
