Over the next months, we will offer training for those serving now & for those feeling called to serve as a Liturgical Min-ister. With this training Minister s will be well-formed to assist at all six of our churches. All ministers are asked to at-tend the session for their individual ministry. Some people have received fake emails that appear to be from Fr. Harry. The emails seem authentic: they appear to be from his diocese email address and ask for a “favor.” Once you reply, it seems he is asking you to do an errand to buy a gift card, and them email the code on the back of the card to him. Neither Fr. Harry, Fr. Zach, Fr. Ben or Fr. Jim, will ever ask you to do this. Please be alert and if you receive one of these emails, do not be fooled and do not respond. THIS IS A SCAM!

VOCATION COUNCIL Our parish grouping is starting a vocations council in order to promote vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, and reli-gious life. If you would like to help with this important initiative, please contact Fr. Zach at 724.947.3363 or zgali-yas@diopitt.org.

YOUTH MINISTRY We are looking for volunteers to help with our high school youth ministry program. Sessions are usually twice a month, on Sunday evenings. CCD/FAITH FORMATION If any parents have not registered their children for CCD, please do so ASAP. You can either send in a paper form, or submit your registration electronically via the parish website.

There is no limit on the number of Masses that you can request at this time. Our grouping's next "church tour" will be on Sun-day, August 18th, at Our Lady of Lourdes at noon. This is in conjunction with their Par ish Picnic. Please consider attending to visit, picnic and tour the facilities. All are welcomed. Picnic starts at noon in St. Bernadette Hall.

PARISH PICNICS St. Michael Parish will be holding their Par ish Picnic on Sunday, August 25th, from 1:00 –5:00 PM at Breezy Heights Pavilion. All are welcome. Attendees are asked to bring either a side dish or dessert. Come for the bingo, the Chinese auction, the 50/50 raffle & fellowship.
