The renovated Federal Building is now the home of the Arts Council. With 25,000 square feet of usable space, the building offers an exciting home for the arts as well as key meeting space

in Greenwood. The building includes a Visitors center, a large, professional gallery, reception hall with audio/visual capabilities, two conference/meeting rooms with audio/visual capabilities, catering kitchen, and a courtyard garden.

Situated on 133 acres of lakeside land, Camp Fellowship offers lodging as well as meeting facilities. The Fraser Chapel is a large meeting room with a stage-area. This building also provides a climbing wall, sure to keep summer campers entertained. The Conference Center meeting room provides a conference table and chairs, as well as sofas and a stone fireplace and accommodates 40-50. The Retreat House and Cabin both have meeting rooms and screened porches overlooking the lake.

The John Drummond and Holly Self Drummond Environmental Education and Conference Center is approximately 34 x 23. The space can accommodate 272 or 126 seated. Conference Center does not provide catering service. This lakeside facility is available for special events year round.

The Civic Center’s arena is 119 x 130 without bleachers. In the round, the space has approximately 4200 seats available and 3750 in a horseshoe shape. For trade shows, the space can accommodate 92 8 x 10 booths. The Community Room can accommodate 100 for a wedding reception and 125-150 for parties. Seminars can seat 100. The Civic Center also has two large dressing rooms, a catering kitchen, and a Green room that can serve as a small meeting space for 20.

Aside from being a full-service hotel, the Inn on the Square has several meeting and banquet facilities. The Emerald Ballroom is available for large private functions and is equipped with a dance floor. The ballroom can be divided into thirds for smaller functions. Catering is available on site. The Tuscany Room is a private room designed for parties of 25 or less. This room comes equipped with hidden a dry-erase board and movie screen. For a small intimate gathering, the Chairman’s Room is a private dining space that can seat 10.

Lander University has a range of facilities for any meeting or event. There are small classrooms and large lecture halls available for meetings. Most classrooms come equipped with a video

projection system with PowerPoint/video presentation capabilities. The Cultural Center Auditorium is a theatre-multiuse facility that seats 630. The Finis Horne Arena can seat 2500 for sporting events and can also be used for banquets, concerts, and graduation ceremonies. Concert and performance settings can seat 3000, and table seating for 500 is available for banquets. Lander also features an outdoor amphitheatre that accommodates 500. Located close to the University, Cambridge Hall is a historic home owned by the university and is available but has limited meeting and dining space. Catering is available through Aramark.

One of the newest meeting facilities in Greenwood, Little River Multicultural Complex, provides groups of all sizes with top-notch meeting space. The gymnasium can accommodate assembly seating of approximately 1500 people and can seat approximately 600 banquet-style. The facility also houses 6 classrooms or break-out space, accommodating 60 people in each. The conference room is complete with a kitchenette and will seat a maximum of 20 people. The dining hall can accommodate about 175 people and has a full industrial kitchen that can store a 7 course meal for 1400 people. Each meeting room has AV capabilities with an LCD screen. In addition, there are computers with internet access on site, as well as an outdoor speaker system, men and women’s locker rooms with showers, and enhanced security features. The staff is happy to help with any of your meeting needs.

The James C. Self Conference Center is 13,746 square feet, with meeting rooms, auditoriums, kitchens, a deck, and a patio. The conference rooms range in size and can seat between 20 to 180. The Continuing Education Building has traditional classroom facilities available for use. The college also has six County Center Locations available for industry to use for educational programs.

After a complete renovation, Jon O. Holloway, fine art photographer, transformed an old auto parts store in Uptown Greenwood into a charming, loft-like gallery space. With original hard wood floors and brick walls, the space accommodates about 120 seated and 200 standing.

The building also features a beautifully landscaped courtyard that faces newly renovated Oregon Avenue. This creative space is ideal for small meetings and conferences.

Wesley Commons is a Continuing Care Retirement Community located conveniently off of Highway 72 and near Highway 34 and Main Street. There are several meeting room options on campus and on-site catering is also available. Asbury Hall is a large reception hall that can accommodate 120 guests seated, 400 in a standing reception, and 145 theater style. This banquet facility is equipped with audio visual capabilities. The Commons’ Library can seat 16 to 32 comfortably around the cozy fireplace and it is also equipped with audio visual capabilities. The Private Dining Room is perfect for board meetings or small private gatherings. This room seats 12 people conference style. The Hunt Room seats 24 people and it is always set and ready for bridge groups.

Lower Piedmont region of Upstate South Carolina and

The Emerald Triangle, a nine-acre triangular shaped

area in the heart of downtown, provides a new bustling

cultural center for the Uptown Greenwood area. While in

town, visiting the Arts and Visitors Center located in the

Federal Building is a must, as it always features beautiful

exhibits and fine art shown in the Countybank Gallery.

Next door, the Greenwood Community Theatre hosts

Greenwood’s exceptional thespian talent.

Greenwood is an active tourism partner in the Old

Ninety Six Tourism District, which prides themselves as

the Freshwater Coast region. The politics of Freshwater

Coast has profoundly influenced

the state and nation, beginning with

Ninety Six, the original courthouse

village of the backcountry and strategic

outpost during the Revolution. The

fort and battle site are now the Ninety

Six National Historic Site, located in

Greenwood County. The site, which

is part of the National Park Service, hosts over 30,000

visitors each year and sponsors various reenactments and

history days throughout the year.
