GENERAL NOTES

Situation Green Cowden Farm lies only 1 mile out of Bakewell on Monyash Road and has excellent access to the main road network. From the centre of Bakewell pick up the B5055 towards Monyash and travel up the hill passing the main school on the left and continue around the bends up through the wood. The drive to Green Cowden Farm lies on the right with the farm lying second property down the drive at the far end. From Monyash and the A515 travel down into the centre of Monyash and pick up the Bakewell road-B5055. Continue for approximately 2 miles and after Sheldon Lane on the left Green Cowden Farm lies second property on the left after approximately ½ mile. ‘To the Sale’ and ‘Car Park’ signs will be erected on the morning of the sale.

VAT on Export Goods – Under regulations imposed by HM Customs & Excise, the auctioneers must account in a proper manner for VAT on export goods. Therefore, any customers who have no trading pattern record with the auctioneers must pay all VAT on the purchase price of goods on sale day. On receipt of all relevant export documentation and bills of laden (which must be received in the prescribed time limits), the auctioneers will then refund relevant VAT sums.

The very genuine dispersal sale at Green Cowden Farm arises as a result of the sale of the property by the Wardman family. There is a wide range of quality equipment for genuine dispersal and all locals will know that the cattle from the farm have been sold in Bakewell Market. The Wardman family can be highly commended for the quality and maintenance/up keep of their items with the stars of the show being the New Holland T6030 Delta 4WD tractor which has undertaken under 1950 hours at cataloguing together with the Quad Bike and other grassland items which have all seen very little work. There are a wide range of troughs, feed rings etc. together with a very smart IAE Galvanised Cattle Crush and purchasers should attend and bid with confidence at this very good sale.
