My dear People,

As March closed, three of our families

experienced bereavement. While every death

is a reminder of our own mortality, it is also

an occasion to put our faith in Christ Jesus

who said, "I am the resurrection and the life.

The one who believes in me will live, even

though they die" (Jn.11:25).

This is the season when we celebrate the

historical Resurrection of Jesus. But let's not

forget that every Sunday has been

designated "the Lord's Day" because of the

Resurrection. We are to celebrate the

Resurrection, not seasonally, but constantly in

a weekly cycle. Our Lord made it a habit to

attend public, corporate worship—even

though He was so holy and His fellow

worshippers were sinful and the priests were

so hypocritical. His example mandates that

we follow Him. Scripture commands, "Think of

ways to motivate one another to acts of love

and good works. Do not neglect meeting

together, as some people do, but encourage

one another, especially now that the day of

His return is drawing near" (Heb. 10:24-25).
